Jewel’s Bikini Gets Noticed: Miami Afternoon Spent With Son Caught By Paparazzi

Jewel’s bikini outing in Miami on Thursday is receiving some attention. The 40-year-old singer was out with her son for a fun day at the beach. The paparazzi managed to snap a few shots of Jewel as she enjoyed the time spent with her son, and she shared a photo on her Instagram during the outing.

Jewel Kilcher spent most of the day covered up. Radar Online shared photos of the singer, and her 3-year-old son, Kase, at the pool. Kase is Jewel’s son from her long relationship with Ty Murray. Jewel and the professional bull rider dated for 10 years before they married in 2008. However, Jewel and Ty announced the end of their marriage in 2014.

On Thursday, the focus of Jewel’s attention was her little boy. Jewel did notice that the paparazzi snapped a few photos out with the little boy, and she decided to poke a little fun at the intrusion on her Twitter the next morning.

She had no idea she was being watched when she shared the photo of her and her little boy on Instagram.

Jewel has enjoyed previous beach outings with her son in recent months. Daily Mail Online reported of an outing that included Ty Murray back in February. Jewel shared a photo of the little boy throwing sand at Ty instead of posing for a family photo. She asked her followers if they could relate to the moment. In July, 2014, Jewel penned a blog post on her site that spoke about the end of her marriage with Ty.

“Ty and I have always tried to live the most authentic life possible, and we wanted our separation as husband and wife to be nothing less loving than the way we came together. For some time we have been engaged in a private and difficult, but thoughtful and tender undoing of ourselves. Allowing ourselves the time and space to redefine what we are to each other with love rather than malice. We have been so aware that it is easiest to use the inertia of anger to leverage two souls apart who have been bound together by so much living. By a child. But we did not want anger to burn the ties that bound us. Instead we have chosen the much more difficult task of undoing ourselves stich by stich, and releasing each other with love so that we may take on our new form: dear friends and devoted co-parents of our beloved son Kase.”

Jewel ended the post by making it clear that Ty and she would remain close friends, and they would raise their young son together. It is clear that they have managed that successfully so far.

Jewel has been busy in recent months with another endeavor. She has written book about her life, and People Magazine shared the cover of that autobiography last month. The book, titled Never Broken: Songs Are Only Half the Story, is set for release in September. Jewel also shared a snippet from her book on Twitter to promote the news.

Jewel shared some about the book in a released statement shared by People Magazine.

“My life has been about constantly challenging myself to discover who I am, and to become responsible for my own happiness rather than being a victim of whatever fate has thrown my way. I hope that the personal experiences I write about will help others to understand that, no matter how bleak or how gilded, we are not prisoners of our circumstance unless we believe ourselves to be.”
