Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande Help LGBT Youth As Bruce Jenner Supports Transgender Community In New Special [Video]
Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande want to help the homeless and LGBT youth. To do so, they’re working with Miley’s new foundation, Happy Hippie, reported Rolling Stone.
Focused on the most vulnerable groups, the Happy Hippie Foundation seeks to raise awareness and support young LGBT, as well as homeless youth. Cyrus sought to raise the consciousness initially by bringing a homeless young man as her date to the MTV Awards recently.
“Pointless judgment and its effects are unfortunately something that is way too common. All humans have valid feelings and rights! I want to use my voice as a megaphone to young people everywhere and encourage human evolution,” declared Miley.
“No one should have to hide who they really are, no matter what his or her name, gender or status. That’s why Happy Hippies are here to say that every life is valuable!”
As the Inquisitr reported, Miley and Ariana also teamed up to sing a duet for the Happy Hippie Foundation. Adorably dressed in cute, cozy onesies, Cyrus and Grande made it clear that they’re enchanted with each other’s talent and with the ability to use that talent to do good. Their duet, “Don’t Dream It’s Over,” is shown below.
Speaking about the Happy Hippie Foundation, Cyrus expressed her appreciation to Grande on Facebook.
“Soooooo thankful for Ariana Grande for being a part of the #backyardsessions!! You’re the sweetest little #happyhippie bear-mouse ever! Loooooove you The Happy Hippie Foundation #HappyHippiePresents #dontdreamitsover.”
In addition to Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande, Bruce Jenner is seeking to support for what he sees as another vulnerable group, and that’s the transgender community, reported People.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce is a special that shows the family (both Kardashians and Jenners) past and present and how they learned about Bruce’s plans to transition into a woman.
Each person reacts differently. For Khloe Kardashian, shopping is a way to show her love and support.
“I don’t know her taste yet, so I’m trying to find that out,” explains Khloe, showing Bruce the gifts that she purchased for “her.”
Bruce, who has spoken out about how he hopes his decision to go public with the transition can help raise awareness for the transgender community, expresses heartfelt appreciation.
“I don’t know her taste either. But do you know how nice this is? Without even opening them, do you know how nice this is and how much I appreciate this?”
