‘Real Housewives’ Kim Richards Threatening To Quit Rehab?
Is Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards planning an early exit from rehab? According to a new report, the reality star and mother of four has grown frustrated after being informed that she isn’t healthy enough to attend her daughter’s upcoming wedding in Mexico.
On May 14, a source revealed the following to Radar Online.
“The facility doesn’t want to send a staffer to Mexico with Kim for Brooke’s wedding next weekend. Kim just isn’t ready to be out in the world yet. But she is refusing to listen to any of the advice.”
On April 16, the Real Housewives star was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge after become a disruption for guests. As Richards admitted to Dr. Phil, she drank vodka at her daughter’s house after initially relapsing months ago, and after driving to the hotel, had several more drinks.
Still, despite her relapse, the Real Housewives star can’t fathom the idea of being absent from her daughter’s wedding, and is determined to do whatever it takes to get there — even if it puts her Bravo future in jeopardy.
“Kim said if the rehab won’t send a staffer, she will just leave. Members of Kim’s treatment team want her to stay in rehab for 90 days, but she is balking.
Kim keeps breaking down in tears in front of the staff lamenting she can’t miss her daughter’s wedding — even though Brooke already was married last summer! Kim is living in her own world, and hasn’t surrendered to the fact that she needs help.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Richards has allegedly been asked back to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6, but producers will only agree to let her begin filming if she completes her stay in treatment. A source revealed the following to Radar Online on May 13.
“She checked into rehab and has agreed to go along with everything that her bosses asked of her. Kim is not a liability if she is clean and sober and doing what is asked of her. She knows the process because she has done it several times before.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 cast has yet to be revealed, but on Thursday, three wives attended the NBC Upfront, which seemed to confirm they would be involved in Season 6. The women in attendance were Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, and Lisa Rinna.
