Martha Hunt Is Taylor Swift’s ‘Homeslice’ In ‘Bad Blood’ Music Video: Who Is This New Victoria’s Secret Angel?
Taylor Swift’s BFF Martha Hunt was introduced as “Homeslice” in the singer’s new “Bad Blood” music video. Martha is the latest celebrity and model confirmed for Taylor Swift’s much buzzed about music video.
Swift took to Instagram and Twitter on Wednesday morning to confirm Martha Hunt’s appearance in her much anticipated new music video. Hunt will play the part of “Homeslice” in the new single off of Swift’s 1989 album. Hunt also joins fellow models Karlie Kloss, Lily Aldridge, and Gigi Hadid in the music video.
Swift and Hunt are close friends. Late last month, the singer-songwriter wished the new Victoria’s Secret Angel a happy birthday. Martha Hunt was born and raised in North Carolina. She was discovered in Charlotte, and signed on with IMG Models in New York. Hunt also walked her first runway in 2007 for Issey Miyake at New York Fashion Week, according to a Bustle report.
The 26-year-old also became one of Victoria’s Secret’s newest “Angels.” That’s right. Martha Hunt was one of the 10 new Victoria’s Secret Angels that were introduced late last April. That means she will wear the famous wings at this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which has become of the biggest events in the fashion industry’s calendar.
Martha Hunt will also be joined by newcomers Kate Grigorieva, Taylor Hill, Elsa Hosk, Martha Hunt, Jac Jagaciak, Stella Maxwell, Lais Ribeiro, Sara Sampaio, Romee Strijd, and Jasmine Tookes.
Victoria’s Secret released a public statement about the new Angels.
“The expanded Angel lineup gives Victoria’s Secret the largest group of contract models in its history and the most powerful collection of established and emerging models in the world.”
The sexy model made the announcement to her fans by sharing a sexy topless photo on Instagram. Hunt used the revealing photo to her advantage by thanking the lingerie company for the honor.
Martha Hunt’s friends often refer to her as “Marthvader” and “Snowflake.” If she wasn’t a Victoria’s Secret Angel, she would work as a movie director, according to a report in Us Weekly. Hunt also relates to mermaids. When it comes to entertainment, she loves listening to “So Good” by Destiny’s Child and watching the flick The Jinx.
When it comes to her passions, Martha Hunt loves to surf, cook, and dance. She already has two things in common with Taylor Swift, who’s always seen cooking with her friends and dancing at award shows. Also like Swift, Hunt enjoys living in New York, giving to charities, hanging with her girlfriends, showing off her pets, and empowering women.
