The RHOC trailer for season 10 includes several shocking and dramatic moments, including a scene, which featured Vicki Gunvalson, the longest running housewife, receiving the devastating news of her mother’s death.
On May 12, Bravo released the RHOC trailer, and right away, fans were faced with the baptism of Tamra Barney, followed by her topless run down a pier in a thong.
“The girls are here!”
Following several light-spirited moments in the RHOC trailer, including the arrival of Barney’s granddaughter, Ava, and a cast visit to what appears to be an adult-themed store, things seemed to take a turn for the worse for Gunvalson. Not only is she accused of faking boyfriend Brooks Ayers’ cancer diagnosis, she later is involved in at least two fights with her co-stars, and during one, the newest housewife, Meghan King Edmonds, calls her a bitter old woman.
Then, all issues with her co-stars suddenly seem small as Gunvalson is seen on the phone during the RHOC trailer, receiving news of her mom’s passing.
“What happened?” Gunvalson asks, before falling to the ground.
During an interview with Us Weekly after her mother’s passing, prior to the RHOC trailer, Gunvalson spoke of the devastating loss, revealing many of her co-stars reached out in support, but sadly, former best friend, Barney, did not .
“Shannon [Beador] was absolutely there for us. Heather [Dubrow] also reached out. And [Heather’s husband] Terry, Lizzie [Rovsek]… Never heard from Tamra. Interesting. You know what, you really find out who your true friends are when things like this happen.”
Following Gunvalson’s comments, a source spoke to Radar Online , denying there was any truth to her statement . As the Inquisitr previously reported, the source claimed Gunvalson was attempting to use her alleged feud with Barney to create a story line for season 10.
“Tamra has texted Vicki numerous times,” said the source. “By planting the seeds that Tamra has not reached out, she can already go into filming ready to go with a controversial storyline that will be sure to bring the drama.”
“Why should Tamra continue to reach out after how mean Vicki was to her last season while she was going through the worst time in her life? The fact that Tamra reached out at all speaks volumes about her character.”
