George Zimmerman Dead? Trayvon Martin’s Killer Hurt By Matthew Apperson

George Zimmerman’s death has been the subject of rumors ever since Trayvon Martin died. The Hispanic man became infamous across the world after the jury found him not guilty, and he has received many death threats over time. Now that Zimmerman was involved in a new shooting incident involving a shooter named Matthew Apperson, many wonder if he managed to survive.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, reports say a road rage incident in Florida ended with Matthew Apperson shooting George Zimmerman while they were both in their own vehicles.

So, is George Zimmerman dead? Multiple reports have claimed that Trayvon Martin’s killer was shot in the face, but it turns out those reports are false, and Zimmerman survived his shooting without any major injury.

“His injuries would be considered minor,” said Zimmerman’s lawyer, Don West.

Lake Mary Police spokesperson Bianca Gillett told WESH 2 that a bullet hit the front window of Zimmerman’s vehicle and the glass shattered, causing him to sustain a wound to the face.

Based upon the circumstances, this led to some reports claiming the bullet may have hit him in the face, but witnesses said Zimmerman was able to exit his vehicle under his own power.

“He walked normally into the ambulance, so he wasn’t being helped or nothing,” Ricardo Berrare, a witness on the scene said. “They actually backed up the ambulance next to his driver side so he could walk into the door. The officer was talking to him through the back window because the other one had a hole in it. It was all shattered.”

Zimmerman was already admitted to a local hospital and then released after his minor face wounds were treated.

According to KAKE, it is believed Zimmerman may actually know the identity of the shooter. Kenneth Cornell, an employee at a nearby business, was exiting his car after lunch when an unidentified man drove up and started yelling, “I shot George Zimmerman, call 911. I don’t have a phone.”

Cornell said the man, who has since been identified as Matthew Apperson, told him he and Zimmerman had previously had three disputes. This time, Apperson claimed that Zimmerman waved a gun before being shot.

“He said it was a road rage incident, that they were driving down the street and George pulled a gun on him,” Cornell said.

Back in September of 2014, the Orlando Sentinel reported that Apperson didn’t press charges after threatened him the first time. It was also reported that Apperson called police two days later to complain that Zimmerman had been stalking him. Fortunately, their latest altercation did not lead to the death of anyone.

In the past, George Zimmerman’s death was a subject of a hoax that was widely spread by social media. These reports claimed Zimmerman was found dead at a Florida gun range after accidentally shooting himself while trying to reload his weapon. It was also said that the 911 responders were “in no rush” to retrieve Zimmerman’s lifeless body.

Zimmerman also made headlines earlier in 2015 when he discussed Trayvon Martin’s death.

“Me as a Christian, I believe God does everything for a purpose and he had his plans, for me to second guess them would be hypocritical and and almost blasphemous,” he said.
