WWE News: Daniel Bryan Advertised For Tonight’s ‘RAW’ — Will He Appear On The Show?
So far, Daniel Bryan’s Intercontinental Championship reign hasn’t quite lived up to the hype due to him being out-of-action for the last several weeks. When Bryan won the title back in March at WrestleMania, it was expected that he would make the title as relevant as it was in the 80s and 90s, and, it’s likely that if Bryan were healthy, he would do just that.
Since Bryan has been out-of-action, WWE has rarely mentioned him. As a matter of fact, WWE still hasn’t told the fans exactly what’s wrong with him. But, it appears that the fans will get some answers tonight, because — according to the U.S. Bank Arena’s website — Daniel Bryan will be appearing at tonight’s RAW. Of course, at the bottom of the listing it notes that the card is subject to change, however, as of today, the advertisement has not been updated.
There is some concern among the WWE fans that Daniel Bryan will be stripped of the Intercontinental Championship, which is the most likely scenario if Bryan is unable to return to action within the next couple of weeks. There have been reports that WWE isn’t expecting Bryan to return to action until late next month at the earliest, which could result in him being stripped of the title.
It’s also been reported that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon will be on RAW tonight for the first time in several weeks, and, as every WWE fan knows, Daniel Bryan has been The Authority’s number one target in the past, so, Bryan’s return could coincide with The Authority’s return, which may result in him being stripped of the Intercontinental Championship.
When healthy, Daniel Bryan is considered to be the best in-ring performer in WWE. Unfortunately, it could be a very long time before Bryan is completely healthy, and with him refusing to change to a more cautious in-ring style, he may never be 100 percent healthy on a regular basis ever again.
While Daniel Bryan may not be wrestling on WWE television in the near-future, he will be involved in new WWE programming on the USA Network, as it was announced last week that he would be one of the expert panelists on the returning WWE Tough Enough. Bryan will be joining Chris Jericho — who will be hosting the show — Hulk Hogan, and Paige. It was also revealed that the contestants will be trained by Booker T, Billy Gunn, and Lita.
