Lizzie Rovsek Is No Longer An Official Housewife On ‘RHOC’
Lizzie Rovsek is no longer featured on The Real Housewives of Orange County as an official housewife. However, according to the mother of two, she’ll still be seen on the Bravo reality show.
On May 10, Lizzie Rovsek explained her new role on Instagram.
“The ladies of the OC are back. Season 10 starts June 8th on Bravo. I won’t be a main housewife this season, but I will be returning as a friend. Buckle up, it’s gonna be a wild ride! @vickigunvalson @heatherdubrow @shannonbeador @meghankedmonds @tamrajudge #RHOC.”
For the past couple of months, rumors were swirling that one of the returning women, which included Tamra Barney, Vicki Gunvalson, Heather Dubrow and Shannon Beador, had been booted. As the Inquisitr previously reported, a Twitter photo shared during production confirmed there would be just five official housewives on the show, and because Meghan King Edmonds was one of those women, fans wondered who would be seen in a lesser role. The tweet, shared by Real Housewives 101 on Twitter, didn’t name the five roles in question, but did confirm the number of cast members.
In addition to Lizzie Rovsek’s reduced role, Danielle Gregorio, who also joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County during season nine, will no longer be seen on the show. In a statement to the Inquisitr in February, Gregorio’s rep explained the following.
“While [Danielle Gregorio] was present at Lizzie Rovsek’s birthday party (they have been friends for years), Danielle did not want to return to RHOC this season and therefor will not be.”
Lizzie Rovsek joined the Real Housewives of Orange County last year, filling one of the empty spaces left by Alexis Bellino and Gretchen Rossi. On the show, fans have gotten an inside look at Rovsek’s personal life with husband Christian and their two sons, as well as her professional life with her Sunkitten Swimwear line.
Weeks ago, Lizzie Rovsek spoke of the 10th season of the reality show during an interview with Perez Hilton.
“Tamra and I are great. We are in a really good place, we have been getting along and having a lot of fun. We had a great time on the trip together. Last year was pretty brutal, and we went through a really hard time even after we stopped filming, and, you know, today, I’m happy to say that we are getting along, and things are really good.”
For more Lizzie Rovsek, tune into the season 10 premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County, airing on Bravo on June 8 at 9 p.m.
