Vicki Gunvalson On Fake Cancer: ‘It’s Nothing Short Of Disgusting’
Vicki Gunvalson has been keeping a low profile over the past couple of months, as she has been working on her insurance business, has been filming The Real Housewives of Orange County, and has been a support system for her boyfriend, Brooks Ayers. Last year, Brooks announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer, so he has been undergoing aggressive treatment.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson hadn’t really shared her thoughts about this cancer diagnosis in the press, and fans had to read about it in tabloids through sources. And last night, when the trailer for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Orange County aired, Vicki was furious.
According to a new tweet, Vicki Gunvalson is now revealing that she is not very happy with the way of her co-stars have been talking about Brooks. It is no secret that Heather Dubrow and Tamra Barney are not big fans of Ayers, but in the preview for the upcoming season, Heather is caught making the comment, “who would lie about cancer?”
“Wow! Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers better get familiar with the block button!n #fakecancer Yikes! #RHOC,” one follower wrote to Vicki Gunvalson last night, as the new trailer for the upcoming season aired, which had Vicki reply, “It’s nothing short of disgusting.”

It sounds like the other ladies have been questioning Brooks’ diagnosis. Since Vicki Gunvalson hasn’t actually shared anything from the past couple of months, fans haven’t seen her take him to treatments, chemotherapy, and so forth. It will be interesting to see how Vicki is dealing with this major life change, and why Heather would make such a comment.
Gunvalson has often questioned whether she should keep filming The Real Housewives of Orange County, but she has returned every year. Vicki is the longest standing housewife in the entire franchise, as she has been filming since day one. According to the Inquisitr, Vicki Gunvalson has been named Andy Cohen’s favorite housewife.
Maybe there have been questions about Vicki’s relationship to Brooks Ayers throughout the season, as other housewives have distanced themselves from Vicki. Shannon Beador recently posted a picture of herself with her co-stars, where Gunvalson was missing. She added that things had changed with certain friendships. It sounds like fans will have to watch this upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Orange County to get the scoop.
