Jill Duggar is celebrating her first Mother’s Day, while Michelle Duggar has known the joys before. But when the two stars of 19 Kids And Counting celebrate Mother’s Day in 2015, they’ll both cherish it with all their hearts, reported People .
“Oh boy, do we ever celebrate,” revealed the 48-year-old matriarch. “We definitely do. Jim Bob and the kids come up with all kinds of ideas.”
For those looking for ideas, Michelle shared some of the typical gifts that she receives from those 19 famous kids.

Cards that each child made especially for mom, compete with offers to make her favorite dinner treat of chicken and dumplings. But there’s something about those made-just-for-mom cards that touches her heart.
“My favorite is the handmade cards, those are the most precious keepsakes ever. Dad and the older girls have the little ones working on cards. It melts my heart reading them. Those are keepsakes we save, stacked in a box in Jim Bob’s office. I look back at my mother’s day cards through the years and think they are so sweet.”
As for what she does do on Mother’s Day? Absolutely nothing, and Michelle loves being pampered.

“I don’t have to do any cooking, that’s fun,” she laughed. “I don’t have to plan or think about meals or anything like that. I get really spoiled.”
Michelle gets serious, however, when she thinks about the responsibilities of being a mother.
“The joy of being a mom is knowing that you have the privilege of investing into another person’s life for eternity. Pointing them in that direction and to success in life – it is one of the greatest things to do with your life. The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. We have the privilege of putting our imprint on these little lives.”
Her daughter-in-law Anna, married to her son, Josh, agrees.

“Mother’s Day for me is celebrating with the ones who made you a mother,” she said, anticipating a day with her children and husband.
But everything goes back to love, says Anna.
“I am reminded of my mom and my mother-in-law,” she mused.
“And being a mother is about love. A definition I like about love is giving to others their basic needs without having any motive of personal reward. And that’s being a mom.”
But there’s something extra special about this Mother’s Day for Jill Duggar. The 23-year-old now is a mom herself, after having Israel David on April 6, and making Michelle Duggar into a grandmother , as the Inquisitr reported.

Jill and her husband, Derick Dillard, worried during her labor, which lasted 70 hours before doctors performed a C-section. Israel David was born at 11:49 p.m. weighing nine pounds, 10 ounces. Jill doesn’t regret a moment of her suffering.
“I love our birth story because it bonded us so well. I still haven’t changed a single diaper. Derick has been changing them all.”
But for Jill, motherhood has brought some unexpected concerns, reported Christian Today . Luckily for Jill, a very experienced mother is just a phone call away.

“There are a lot of things that seem different than I thought they would be,” she admitted.
“I call out to my mom and ask things like, ‘Is this feeling normal?’ and, ‘How long should I nurse?’ Israel’s a little boy, he will eat all the time, so I was asking if 20 minutes a feeding was long enough or too much, and how all of it should go.”
