Kate Middleton, Prince William Request Privacy As They Move To Amner Hall
Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte have moved to Amner Hall, and have sent a letter to the press, asking for privacy. According to E! News, the royal couple don’t want the paparazzi lurking around their home as they get acclimated to being a family of four. With a newborn and a toddler, the last thing the two want to worry about is the media at their doorstep.
“Dear Sir/Madam, As you are aware, Anmer Hall is part of the Sandringham Estate, which is a private estate and whilst in residence, members of the Royal Family and their guests have a more than reasonable expectation of privacy.
“There have in the past been a number of intrusions into the privacy of the Royal Family, which in the main have been as a result of professional photographers using long distance lenses, not only to observe the Royal Family, but also to photograph them going about their activities on the Estate. Following warnings given to photographers and the photographic agencies involved, the position has greatly improved. However, we would remind you again of the position. The Sandringham Estate trusts that there will not be a need to take any further action other than bringing these points to your attention.
“With the above matters in mind, we would reiterate the clear request for acts of harassment and breaches of privacy to cease.
“Communications Secretary to TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.”
Kate Middleton and Prince William left for Sandringham on Wednesday. They will spend most of their summer at the 10-bedroom estate according to PopSugar. Prince William is scheduled to return to work on June 1, but his wife will have all of the help that she needs caring for her children. Not only do the couple have nannies, but Kate’s mother, Carole, has been a huge help in the past, and will likely be over to help out.
Meanwhile, the royal family is said to be doing extremely well after welcoming baby Charlotte just six days ago. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the Duchess of Cambridge had a fairly easy labor, and gave birth to her daughter less than three hours after arriving at St. Mary’s Hospital. Hours later, a glamorous Kate stepped out with her husband to introduce Princess Charlotte to the world, and most people couldn’t get over just how great she looked. Rumor has it she gave birth naturally — but you wouldn’t be able to tell based on how Kate looked when she left the hospital on Saturday.
No photos of the newborn have been taken since her dad put her car seat in his car and drove home last week. Official royal portraits of the royal family are expected in the coming months.
