Robert Herjavec On Rumored Romance With Kym Johnson And ‘DWTS’ Elimination
On Season 18 of Dancing with the Stars, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis were rumored to be dating. On Season 19, it was Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Janel Parrish. For the current season, it was Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson. Unfortunately, their chemistry wasn’t enough to save them from elimination. They, along with Chris Soules and Witney Carson, were eliminated on Tuesday night’s double elimination show.
Now that Robert and Kym have been booted from Dancing with the Stars, what’s next for the two? In an interview with OK! Magazine, posted on Thursday, Robert continued to keep everyone guessing by declining to give an outright no or yes when it comes to whether he and Kym are dating. Instead, he talked about their great friendship.
“We’re really good friends. We spent a lot of time together and we’re certainly going to stay in touch…”
He’s thankful for the show because it led to him meeting Kym. He admitted that they had an instant connection.
“One of the great things about doing the show was getting to meet Kim. You find out pretty quickly if you’re going to click with somebody or not.”
As for the kiss that they shared during their Monday night dance, Robert said that it was just part of the performance. He even joked that everyone kisses on the show.
“It was just part of the dance. We didn’t overthink it like a lot of people think we did. The song was called ‘Champagne Kisses’ and the theme was New Year’s Eve. It’s not a big stretch to make that connection. It was just part of that moment… But you kiss everybody! At one point, even Len [Goodman] wanted to kiss me. That’s not true, I’m making that up!”
The two did spend time together outside of rehearsing for or filming the dance show. On Sunday night, they went to Cheryl Burke’s birthday bash.

After Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson were eliminated from Dancing with the Stars, both took to social media to thank their supporters and each other. Kym posted two photos of her and Robert hugging after a performance on Instagram and wrote about Robert’s enthusiasm.
“@robertherjavec and I had the best time on@dancingabc he embraced every dance and was amazing! Thank you so much for getting us so far and giving so much love and support.”
Robert tweeted that he was grateful to have been part of the show and can’t thank Kym enough.

Robert also posted a very happy photo of him and Kym rehearsing.

As for who Robert is now rooting for to win Dancing with the Stars Season 20, he told OK! Magazine that it’s hard to pick.
“I’m very good friends with Noah [Galloway], I wish him all the best. I’m a good friend with Rumer [Willis]; I think she’s an incredibly talented dancer.Nastia [Liukin] is also great. It could really be anybody’s!”
While Robert Herjavec’s romantic relationship with and Kym Johnson is still in question, another eliminated contestant’s romance seems to be a sure thing. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Chris Soules, whose engagement to Whitney Bischoff was called into question after she didn’t attend two of his performances and went back to Chicago, received a very public declaration of love from her after he was eliminated from the dance competition on Tuesday night.
