Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt: Mansion In NOLA Listed For $6.5 Million
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are selling their mansion in New Orleans. According to Us Weekly, the couple listed the home for $6.5 million after purchasing it for $3.5 million back in 2006. Dedicated to the community since Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005, Brad and Angie aren’t exactly high-tailing it out of town. A rep says that they are looking to buy something a little more private.

“They remain committed to, and infatuated as ever with the city of New Orleans, and will continue to focus on growth in the lower 9th through the Make It Right Foundation.”
According to TMZ, there have not been any photos posted of the inside of the home which is located in the French Quarter. The house is over 7,000 square feet, and has 5 bedrooms, 3+ bathrooms, and a few other wonderful features. The interior is said to be out of this world, thanks to Brad’s eye for architectural detail.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s NOLA mansion doesn’t see the celebrity couple and their kids too often. According to Mail Online, Brad spends some time in Louisiana thanks to his charity Make It Right which is helping the ongoing rebuilding process.
With their hectic schedules, however, Brad and Angie don’t tend to stay in one place for too long.
In other Brangelina news, there have been reports that the actress is going to give up her career (for the time being), and stay home with her six children. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, a source recently shared that Jolie has given some serious consideration to a lifestyle change. While she isn’t planning on backing out of any commitments that she has already made, there seems to be a part of her that wants to just be a full time mom for a while.
“Angie had a real shock with this latest cancer scare. She loves her work, but it doesn’t come close in importance to her kids. She doesn’t ever want to be apart from them, even if it means putting her career on indefinite hold.”
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have more than just one mansion, of course. The couple owns a sizable home in Los Angeles, a swanky apartment in New York City, and their ultra-gorgeous home “Chateau Miraval” in France (where they married last year).
