Prince Harry: Proposal Prepares Him For Post-Military Life As He Gets Toys For ‘Beautiful’ Niece Princess Charlotte

Prince Harry has received a proposal — well, sort of. The momentous occasion came as Harry, who just became an uncle for the second time with the birth of brother Prince William’s royal daughter, was leaving Australia, reported Us Weekly.

Finishing his time with the Australian Defense Force, Prince Harry greeted his fans at the Sydney Opera House. And 21-year-old Victoria McRae decided that she wanted a kiss to signify her affection for royalty.

That plea followed her signboard emblazoned with “Marry Me Prince Harry, Last Chance!”

Prince Harry responded to her placard by asking to have some time to consider her proposal, at which Victoria begged for a kiss. He turned his face so she could kiss his cheek, but Victoria went right for those royal lips.

“I said I’d be happy with a kiss, and so he let me kiss him on the cheek, but then I went in for it. The rest is history. I’m very happy.”

The fan views it as a memorable moment.

“I got Harry’s lips!” she boasted.

The proposal and now-famous kiss comes as Prince Harry prepares for a career change, reported E! News.

The 30-year-old member of the royal family visited with wounded soldiers, engaged them in wheelchair football, and also experienced flight simulation training as part of his Australian experience. He’s now scheduled to spend a week in New Zealand and then head back to England.

After devoting a decade to the British military, Prince Harry will exit in June. But while he focuses on shifting careers, Prince Harry isn’t neglecting his duties as an uncle.

After viewing photos of Princess Charlotte, Harry made it clear that he is already smitten with his baby niece.

“She is absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to meet her,” said Prince Harry. “I’m looking forward to meeting her.”

Harry has actually been collecting cuddly toys just for his niece, reported People. Aware that he wants to be a good uncle, his fans have given him baby-friendly gifts.

“I have been given a hell of a lot of cuddly toys from this morning and other things,” said Prince Harry after his most recent public appearance.

As the Inquisitr reported, the world greeted the arrival of Duchess Kate’s and Prince William’s royal daughter with delight.

The Palace sent out regular updates via social media.

“HRH The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted at 06.00hrs to St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London and is in the early stages of labour,” wrote the Palace to instant #RoyalBaby hashtag excitement.

As soon as the baby girl was born, the Palace revealed the news to the waiting social media world.

“Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales & The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry & members of both families have been informed. The baby weighs 8lbs 3oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.”
