Jeremy Calvert Leaves Twitter While Divorce Details Leak
Jeremy Calvert and his wife, Leah Messer, are reportedly going through a divorce. While alleged details have been leaking about the divorce (including possible hints via his Twitter account), Calvert has left Twitter yet again.
This is not the first time that Jeremy Calvert has gone quiet on Twitter, though. Late last year, he took to Twitter to announce to his large following of Teen Mom 2 fans that his wife had cheated on him. He also began messaging a single mom from West Virginia, making plans to meet up with her. During this time, he disappeared from social media intermittently. Most recently, he was tweeting with another woman on Twitter prior to deleting his account.
His social media absence comes after reports surfaced that his wife, Leah Messer, was out of an alleged rehab stay that lasted only a few short days and meeting with divorce lawyers. The Ashley’s Reality Roundup initially broke the story, and the Inquisitr reported on it as well. According to these reports, Leah Messer is seeking $1,250 in child support a month from Jeremy Calvert for their daughter, Adalynn. Reportedly, Jeremy may agree to this simply to get the divorce done and over with. However, custody is another issue that must be dealt with, and Jeremy reportedly doesn’t want 50/50 custody and has opted for something more.
Prior to her reported rehab stay, Leah Messer was working with a trainer. She made no mention of Jeremy Calvert in her social media postings and the two had removed any mention of the other from their profiles.
Initially, Leah was supposed to stay in rehab for a month, according to InTouch Weekly (via Radar Online.) A source spoke out about the alleged stay.
“She’s still telling people she’s going away for therapy. They’re hoping her denial doesn’t stop her from making a fresh start.”
Reports of an alleged pill addiction for the Teen Mom 2 star have been swirling since last year. In fact, her ex-husband, Corey Simms, even took her to court for custody of their twins. During this time, Leah had to submit to a drug test, which she reportedly passed. This seemed to quiet the addiction rumors, and they hadn’t resurfaced until Wednesday’s rehab report
Leah initially declined to appear on the upcoming sixth season of Teen Mom 2, but then changed her mind. She will appear on the show along with her kids. Jeremy Calvert will likely appear as well.
