Phaedra Parks Declares Love For Kandi Burruss, Says Issue ‘Blown Way Out Of Proportion’

It seems that Phaedra Parks may now be regretting questioning Kandi Burruss’ friendship and saying some of the things that she did about her on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. In her latest BravoTV.com blog post, posted on Wednesday, Phaedra declared her love for Kandi.

In response to the question of whether she and Kandi finally put their issues to rest at the reunion, Phaedra replied that she doesn’t have any issues with Kandi and that the whole thing has been “blown way out of proportion.”

“As far as I am concerned, I have no issues with Kandi. I made one comment that has been blown way out of proportion. I love Kandi.”

Unfortunately for Phaedra, there may be no turning back for Kandi. In an interview with OK! Magazine after the reunion filmed, Kandi admitted that she doesn’t care to be close friends with Phaedra again.

“Whatever at this point. It’s just like this weird trust thing with me now. I’m like, ‘Can I trust you? Do I know what you’re saying is true?’ You know what I’m saying. So I’m just kind of like okay … You know I’m cordial to everybody. You know … but to go above and beyond is just …”

Kandi also outed Phaedra as a liar.

“So during the reunion she makes a statement, I don’t know if they’re gonna show it or not, she makes a statement, ‘Oh you went months without talking to me.’ I’m like, ‘That is a lie.’ It really bothered me when she said that so I went back to like think back right? Last year was my wedding. She was in my wedding. We was talking the whole beginning of the year. My wedding was in April. After that she had her graduation in Alabama that I went to. Um, in May my birthday trip, she was with us on a vacation in California in May. Then we went on a vacation for Fantasia’s [Barrino] birthday in June. In July we started taping. And when we were taping we had to see each other every few days. So when did I go months without talking to you?”

During Part 2 of the Season 7 reunion show, Kandi broke down as she told Phaedra how hurt she was upon seeing Phaedra talk to NeNe Leakes and Porsha Williams about their friendship. Kandi was especially hurt that Phaedra portrayed her to be a friend who wasn’t there for her when she was going through her own issues and have done a lot for her over the years.

Perhaps now that Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks are on the outs, at least from Kandi’s perspective, viewers will see Kandi getting closer to some of the other ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta in the next season? As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kenya Moore sent Kandi a tweet that basically told her to move on from her friendship with Phaedra.
