Former Oasis front man Noah Gallagher didn’t have some nice words to say to former One Direction member Zayn Malik . During an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, he called the singer an “idiot” for leaving the successful boy band two months ago.
“It’s a strange thing for that lad to have done at that age. The greatest quote was — I laughed out loud when I read it — ‘I just want to be a normal 22-year-old.’ Pfft. Who wants to be a normal 22-year-old?! Hang on a minute. You can be f*****g anything that moves and gettin’ paid half a million dollars a week, you f*****g idiot. You want to be a normal 22-year-old? Have you met any normal 22-year-olds? They’re fuckin’ s**t-for-brains. What are you talking about, you f*****g idiot?”
Ouch.
But wait, there’s more. Noah gave some wise words of advice to the young heartthrob.
“I’ll say this to you, Zayn: You might have wanted to be a normal 22-year-old, but you won’t want to be a normal 25-year-old.”
Gallagher was also asked about how he now defines his success. The 47-year-old musician is now the front man of the High Flying Birds. He gave some advice that Malik could use as he pursues his rumored solo career.
“All you can do is not overthink it and keep on going as you would. My advice to anybody is to play the f–kin’ long game. Success doesn’t last forever.”
Noah also gave Zayn some advice he could use when it comes to managing his money.
“F****** get a good accountant because life is very f****** long.”
Malik is not paying any mind to Gallagher’s comments today. That’s because he’s reportedly in a Twitter feud with One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, as previously reported by the Inquisitr . Tomlinson and Malik started their bitter online feud after Tomlinson responded to a tweet from music producer Naughty Boy.
Naughty Boy simply shared a photo of himself with Zayn Malik that included the hard-hitting caption: “Replace this.”
Tomlinson took to Twitter to mock Naughty Boy’s Photoshop skills. The producer retaliated by dissing the One Direction singer’s voice. Malik then hit back at his former bandmate and asked him about the time when he “had a life.”
Louis didn’t respond to Zayn’s tweet. Directioners have been upset over the sudden split of “Zouis.” The nickname was created in reference to Louis and Zayn’s close friendship. The hashtag #RIPZouis has been trending on the social networking site most of the day.
What are your thoughts on Noel Gallagher’s comments on Zayn Malik? Was it right for him to call the singer an “idiot”?
