Per WrestleZone, the first four talents that were announced for Global Force Wrestling are.
- PJ Black (Justin Gabriel)
- Doc Gallows (Luke Gallows)
- Davey Boy Smith Jr. (David Hart Smith)
- Karl Anderson
Out of those four, Anderson is the only one that has never wrestled for WWE at some point in his career. He does team with Gallows a lot and both are members of the famous Bullet Club in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
PJ Black is best known for his time in WWE as Justin Gabriel and was a huge part of the Nexus angle some years ago. He also was one of the three wrestlers pulled from this year’s Royal Rumble, but it was later revealed that he had quit the company.
Smith is the son of wrestling legend Davey Boy Smith and he was a part of a tag team in WWE with Tyson Kidd.
Throughout Wednesday, Jarrett kept revealing more info about Global Force Wrestling and let it be known that former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen would work as an “expert analyst” for the company.
“Chael Sonnen is someone we’ve talked about for a long time… He’s not one to shy from speaking his mind, and we’re all eager to see what he has to say about the GFW athletes.”
Other talents were announced as well, per Wrestling Inc.
- Lance Hoyt
- Chris “The Adonis” Mordetsky (Chris Masters)
- Quinn “Moose” Ojinnaka – former NFL offensive lineman
- Lei’d Tapa
- Trea Trinidad
The first TV tapings for Global Force Wrestling Las Vegas will take place on Friday, July 24; Friday, August 21; and Friday, October 23. Tickets will start at $30 and go on sale on May 15, and a pre-sale begins on May 11.
So far, Global Force Wrestling has a former UFC fighter, some former WWE and TNA talents, and a couple TNA Knockouts too. It’s going to be interesting to see just how far Jeff Jarrett can take this promotion once it makes its debut, and who else will join the talent roster as time goes on.
