Beyonce Diet And Fitness Plan For Met Gala Body: 65 Pounds With 22 Days Vegan Revolution [Video]
Beyonce followed a strict diet to earn those wows for her body at the recent Met Gala. Now all the secrets of her vegan food plan and fitness regime are being unveiled, reported E News.
Those curves came at a cost, and it has nothing to do with spending money on plastic surgery or Spanx. Queen Bey earned the fitspiration crown because she works out regularly, including lunges, arm workouts, and crunches for both calorie burning and toning.
In addition, Beyonce’s vegan diet played a key role in her bodacious body, according to her trainer, Marco Borges.
CEO of 22 Days Nutrition, which includes the 22-Day Revolution food plan, Borges clarified that he views it as a lifestyle.
“It’s not a diet but rather a way of life which starts with habit formation over 22 days. With most diets you see weight loss and then as soon as the program ends the weight slowly starts to add back up again. With The 22-Day Revolution you’ll experience weight loss, improved sleep, clear skin, increased energy, improved sex drive and more.”
As the Inquisitr reported, Beyonce revealed her workout as part of First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Gimme Five” campaign, shown below.

The First Lady also tweeted it to her followers.
“RT if you’re ready to work out with @Beyonce! #GimmeFive of your workout drills (or you’ll disappoint the Beygency).”
But for many who want to get Beyonce’s body, the question is how much weight can you lose? Queen Bey says that she lost 65 pounds in 22 days following Marco’s vegan regime, reported the Daily Mail.
“We celebrated my husband’s birthday with an all-vegan party,”‘ revealed Beyonce. “I can still see the reaction on our friends’ faces. Some were extremely excited while others had some reservations, but in the end, we all enjoyed it immensely.”
Those who follow the vegan plan avoid meat, dairy, alcohol and processed foods for 22 days. Meals and snacks are planned to achieve 80 percent carbohydrates, 10 percent fat, and 10 percent protein.
In addition, to help those who have problems calculating the right amount of food to eat, Beyonce has teamed up with Marco to unveil a 22 Days Nutrition food delivery service, as the Inquisitr reported.
But she’s quick to credit Borges for inspiring her and creating the plant-based diet approach.
“I am so grateful that I took the challenge and credit Marco with leading by example… He came up with a great program to get people motivated to make better nutritional choices. All you have to do is try. If I can do it, anyone can. I am excited to partner with him.”
