Amber Marchese Attends American Cancer Society Gala

Amber Marchese was known as a breast cancer survivor during Season 6 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but after the show wrapped, the reality star and mother discovered another lump in her breasts.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Amber Marchese’s husband, Jim, reportedly confirmed her breast cancer had returned during an interview with TMZ last month. Amber Marchese also spoke to the news site, claiming she planned to go forward like “Superwoman.” At the time, it was believed that Amber Marchese had discovered a lump in her breast, which proved to be cancerous. However, a short time later, Jim spoke out again, claiming to Real Mr. Housewife that he and wife Amber Marchese hadn’t yet gotten the results back from surgery.

“Contrary to other reports, Amber has not received test results from her surgery back yet. When we know something and are ready to share it with the public, we will do so ourselves then.”

Oddly, Amber Marchese’s representative released a statement to Radar Online regarding the alleged return of her breast cancer.

“This is a shock to our team! And our hearts are truly with her and her family during this difficult time. Amber recently underwent surgery for a lump on her breast with the results confirmed: Amber has cancer and she will begin treatments and doctor visits for the weeks to come.”

While Amber Marchese’s cancer return appears to be unconfirmed at this point, despite the confusion, the reality star recently stepped out to support the American Cancer Society at their latest gala over the weekend. On May 4, Bravo’s The Daily Dish confirmed Marchese’s attendance and shared a number of photos from the event.

According to the site, the American Cancer Society’s Night of Wine and Roses gala took place days ago to raise money to help find a cure for cancer.

On Instagram, Amber Marchese shared a message with fans from the event.

“This amazing and beautiful gentleman, who i dragged into the picture, is my oncologist. I am so blessed and grateful to know him. He and his wife have putting together “a night of wine and roses” for the American Cancer Society raising 1000s of $$ for a cure for 25 years.”

Amber Marchese’s post included a photo of herself and several others.

No word yet on whether or not Amber Marchese will return for the upcoming seventh season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
