Peyton Manning Working Out For Denver Broncos Today
Peyton Manning has agreed to a workout session on Friday in Durham, N.C. where a contingent of Denver Broncos officials will be on hand to watch the former Indianapolis Colts quarterback practice.
Source have revealed that Broncos owner Pat Bowlen left Denver for Raleigh-Durham on Friday morning via private jet.
Also headed out to watch Manning is executive VP for football operations John Elway, head coach John Fox and offensive coordinator Mike McCoy along with several other decision makers.
Manning will conduct his workout at an indoor facility at Duke University.
The Miami Dolphins stopped their pursuit of Manning on Friday although he’s still expected to work out for the Tennessee Titans at a yet to be determined time.
Duke coach David Cutcliffe in the meantime has already watch Manning work out and he told the Tennessean of Nashville:
“It’s incredible how much progress he’s made in throwing the football … He’s gotten his arm strength back and his accuracy is there.
Cutliffe continued:
“I’m not an NFL coach, of course, but I think I know what it takes to complete passes in the NFL, and it’s clear that Peyton can make all those throws.”
Manning’s workout with the Denver Broncos comes just two days after he left Tennessee after spending more than eight hour with team officials, the longest of all his meetings.
Most analysts at this point agree that Peyton Manning will sign with either the Denver Broncos or the Tennessee Titans.
Do you think Peyton Manning will end up as a Denver Bronco or a Tennessee Titan?
