Royal Baby Name: Kate Middleton, Prince William Head To Amner Hall Before Announcing Baby Name
The royal baby name has not yet been announced by the palace, but the little princess is set to move into her parents’ country home today. According to the New York Daily News, Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince George, and the new baby will be staying at Amner Hall in Sandringham (this is also where Prince George spent the first several weeks of his life).
After leaving the hospital just a few hours after giving birth on Saturday, the Duchess of Cambridge, her husband, and her two children arrived at Kensington Palace. The very next day, the new princess met some of her family members including Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, and some other members of the extended family. On Monday, the family was expected to pack up their car and head north.
The royal baby name announcement is expected this week, and many thought it would have been announced today. The palace announced Prince George’s name two days after he was born, so today seemed like a safe bet for those wondering what the new princess will be called (top contenders are Charlotte, Elizabeth, and Alice).
According to CNN, there is a lot of chatter about how the new royal baby will grow up, and just how different her life will be from her big brother. Some say that the princess will be scrutinized, and that she will always be the center of attention from the clothes she wears, to how her hair looks, not unlike her mother.
“It’s going to be very, very difficult to give her a real, private normal childhood like Kate Middleton had, simply because (she’s) a huge celebrity,” explained royal historian, Kate Williams.
There is already tons of attention on Kate Middleton and Prince William’s baby girl, and not just because she is the newest member of the royal family. There hasn’t been a Princess Of Cambridge since 1833, so this little girl has quite a legacy to live up to, even if she is only a couple of days old. Also, the new Princess Of Cambridge is fourth in line to the throne.
Until the royal baby has a name, many have been focusing on her photos, which were snapped outside the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital. You can see some of those photos in this article by the Inquisitr.
Any guesses on what her name might be?
