Robert Herjavec Says Kym Johnson Is Always Trying To Kiss Him During ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Will they or won’t they? Going into week 8 on Dancing With the Stars, Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson have yet to kiss on the dance floor. That does not mean the dynamic duo shies away from turning up the heat. Last week’s Argentine tango had such strong sensual overtones it provoked a some differences of opinion. Some commentators thought it was appropriate for the DWTS audience, while others thought it pushed the boundaries just a bit too much.

Herjavec joked in an Access Hollywood interview Friday that Johnson always wants to snuggle up closer to her celebrity partner.

“Kim’s always trying to kiss me during the dance so it’s just… I need a lot of control.”

Johnson laughed off the suggestion. The pair confirmed the upcoming dance for week 8 might be more conservative, at least in terms of its costuming. Herjavec continued to joke that his attention may have strayed last week because of Johnson’s style.

“You are wearing more clothing this week. It was a little distracting. You were half undressed.”

Johnson acknowledged public opinion is split about whether the pair, who are rumored to have a real-life romance, should lock lips during a dance.

“It’s been interesting the feedback. Some people are for it, some people aren’t.”

She said the slight majority seems to be against a smooch. You can see the Access Hollywood clip below.

As next week is America’s Choice on DWTS, Robert and Kym have been asking fans what they would like to see. Robert revealed in his blog for Entertainment Weekly that they will dance a contemporary number to Jessie Ware’s “Champagne Kisses.” The very title of the song implies some hard choices have to be made about whether or not fans will see a kiss. Johnson even floated the idea on her Twitter account.

Kym posted a photo to Instagram of the pair hitting the streets to ask for opinions. Although it is not clear where the shoot took place, Robert and Kym look pretty relaxed, as if they have taken some time off from dancing. You can see Kym Johnson in casual flats and the Shark Tank investor in flip-flops.

Two couples are set to be eliminated Tuesday night on Dancing With the Stars. The performances air Monday night starting at 8 p.m. on ABC.
