The Hallmark movie mystery centers around Hannah Swenson, a lively and talented baker in the local area who becomes fascinated with a murder case when she learns that a close friend and delivery driver at the Cozy Cow Dairy was murdered just behind her bake shop, according to USA Today.
In between baking up her delicious chocolate chip cookies at The Cookie Jar, she busies herself with the details of the police investigation, which annoys the heck out of the lead investigator on the case. The two constantly bump heads as Hannah Swenson pries for more details on how the investigation is progressing, leading the detective to lash out at her by suggesting that she keep her mind on her baking instead of his murder mystery.
And while Hannah Swenson is playing detective, her mother is trying to make her fall in love with an eligible bachelor in the town. But, who will Hannah fall for in the end? The dentist or the handsome but tenacious police detective.
The world premiere original movie is set in Minnesota and is produced by Brad Krevoy Television and Stephanie Germain Productions. Written by Donald Martin, Murder, She Baked is sure to conjure up desires for all things sweet for viewers. The movie stars Alison Sweeney as Hannah Swensen and Cameron Mathison as Mike Kingston.
