Sandra Bullock Getting Ready To Adopt Again

Sandra Bullock is reportedly looking to giver her adopted son a new brother or sister. In 2010 the Oscar winning actress adopted Louis Bardo, now 2-years-old, and now she has reportedly filled out the paper work to adopt another child.

Radar Online reports that Bullock has always wanted more children and that she recently decided that now was the time for her to adopt. Bullock has already filed the paper work but it could be another year until she gets to meet her new child. It took Bullock about a year and a half to complete the adoption process for Louis.

A source told Radar Online:

“Sandra has always planned to have more than one child…. Louis is a little young to understand that he is going to be a big brother, but Sandy is trying to get him ready for the transition…. There is no time table as to when she will get the second child. Sandy’s adoption lawyer has told her it could take up to a year to complete the process. She doesn’t care whether or not it’s a boy or girl. She just wants a healthy a baby.”

Bullock originally planned to adopt Louis with her then-husband Jesse James. But after news spread that James had been cheating on her Bullock filed for a divorce. The Oscar winner decided to go-ahead with the adoption and she’s very glad that she did.

Bullock said:

“He’s just perfect, I can’t even describe him any other way… (Louis has) made me a better person. I really appreciate where I am.”

Bullock isn’t the only celebrity looking at adoption. Last week, Charlize Theron adopted a baby boy.
