‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Season 8: Will Kim Zolciak Return?

Will the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 cast include Kim Zolciak? Although the reality star left the series years ago, rumors recently began surfacing that she may have to come back to the show as part of her deal for her new spinoff series with NeNe Leakes.

While the idea may seem likely, as a Zolciak return would surely increase ratings on the already-popular Real Housewives of Atlanta, Zolciak recently said, according to an April 29 report by Wetpaint Entertainment, that there was not a chance she’d return.

“Not going happen love I’m too damn happy over here for all that drama.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kim Zolciak and her on-again, off-again friend, Leakes, landed their own spinoff of The Real Housewives of Atlanta weeks ago. The show, titled The Road to Riches, will follow the two women in their personal lives and give an inside look at their sometimes hectic friendship.

In an interview with E! News weeks ago, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alums discussed their excitement for their new series.

“One of the things I’m most excited about is working with Kim, just the two of us. I just left Housewives where I was working with like, six monsters. Working on a show like [Real Housewives of Atlanta] tears friendships apart.”

Zolciak agreed that working on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which saw a breakdown in their friendship, put an unnecessary strain on their relationship, which they didn’t get back until after Zolciak left the show.

“It will be good not having anyone interfering with [NeNe Leakes] and I. We’re back to we started twelve years ago, no other noise. No other people talking nonsense.”

Both Zolciak and Leakes have had a lot of success since they initially joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta. As fans are aware, Zolciak currently stars on her own solo spinoff of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, titled Don’t Be Tardy, which started as a wedding special titled Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding.

Leakes also starred in a wedding special on Bravo, as did fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss.

For the last few weeks, as the seventh season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta nears its end, there have been many casting rumors, but according to Zolciak, any rumors regarding her possible return to the Bravo reality series are completely false.
