Gary Shirley’s Girlfriend Goes Into Labor

Gary Shirley could soon be a father of two. On April 30, the Teen Mom OG star took to Twitter, where he announced his girlfriend, Kristina Anderson, was headed to the hospital.

Since Gary Shirley’s tweet was posted just after 8:30 p.m. on Thursday evening, no further updates have been given, which certainly doesn’t come as a surprise. After all, if Anderson is currently in labor, the last thing Shirley should be worried about is social media.

He did, however, share another tweet earlier in the day, which spoke of his daughter Leah’s excitement for her little sister.

Leah’s been praying everyday that the baby would come. And that Kristina would be okay!

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Gary Shirley’s ex-girlfriend, Amber Portwood, spoke out about how she got over her former love during an interview with OK! Magazine. Speaking to the magazine last month, Portwood explained how her new fiancé, Matthew Baier, helped her move past her trouble-plagued relationship with Gary Shirley.

“I think [Matt] helped me get completely over him. It was months before that though that I actually made the decision to not want to have the relationship with Gary anymore. It was just really hard to move forward with somebody and trust another man and actually feel like I can love another person. I never thought I’d find somebody that I loved more than Gary, and obviously I was wrong. I love this man more than anything.”

Gary Shirley dated Portwood for years on Teen Mom, and while their relationship had its good times, including an engagement by the water, it also had its low points, including a Portwood assault. Luckily, they are both in much better places these days — Shirley with Anderson, and Portwood with Baier.

As for Gary Shirley’s relationship with Anderson, he doesn’t appear to be ready to walk down the aisle, as his ex is with her man. Instead, he appears to be enjoying things with Anderson the way they are.

Meanwhile, Portwood and Baier are reportedly planning a wedding, which will likely take place later this year — and could end up on a season of Teen Mom OG if fans are lucky.
