Whitney Bischoff Ditches Engagement Ring, Returns To Work In Chicago

Whitney Bischoff is back to work at AParent IVF Laboratory in Chicago, and shared a photo on Instagram today, one that showed her excitement for returning to her job as a fertility nurse after spending the past month in Los Angeles with her fiance, Bachelor Chris Soules.

Hours after she posted the work photo, Bischoff shared a picture of herself at a hair salon. Her fans immediately noticed that her big, Neil Lane engagement ring was missing from her left hand. This fueled even more speculation that she is headed for a breakup with Chris.

While some fans are convinced that Whitney and Chris are on the verge of a split, one of Whitney’s Instagram followers pointed out that the picture was taken in front of a mirror. It appears that she does have a ring of some sort on her finger, but the reversed image makes it look like it is on her right hand.

Ring or no ring, the breakup rumors continue about the couple who have been spending very little time together since they went public with their engagement on the After the Final Rose special on March 9. Since then, Whitney and Chris have been living together in L.A. while the former Bachelor competes on Dancing with the Stars.

Whitney usually attends at every live show of DWTS, but she was not in the audience on Tuesday night. In a backstage interview, Glamour asked Chris where Whitney was, and his answer didn’t sound like it was coming from someone who is madly in love.

“She actually went back to Chicago this weekend. She had some work things to get caught up on. And now [DWTS is] getting really intense. I’m not even existent to her… so she’s going to take some time back there. I’m sure she’ll be back in the next couple weeks hopefully if I’m still here.”

His response, even about Whitney’s return, sounds a little lackluster.

Even before her absence from Chris’ Week 7 performance on DWTS, they have not been spotted out at as many events as they did before. She did not attend the Dancing with the Stars 10th Anniversary party with him. Instead, he enjoyed a fun night of partying with the his pro-dance partner, Witney Carson.

Although it does appear that Whitney is wearing her ring in her Instagram picture, it’s hard not to question if she’s just tired of being in the spotlight. After all, she went on the Bachelor to find love, marriage, and a family with Chris.

Will Chris and Whitney ever get married and settle down on the farm, or is Soules too focused on stardom to care?
