Rosie O’Donnell’s Estranged Wife, Michelle Rounds, Hits L.A. Streets With Smoking Hot Carmen Ortega Amidst Child Custody Battle

As if intentionally poking her estranged wife, Rosie O’Donnell, with a jealousy stick, Michelle Rounds stepped out into the L.A. night scene with some eye candy on her arm in the form of smoking hot bombshell model, Carmen Ortega, Tuesday night.

Many eyebrows were not only raised, but flew right off people’s foreheads, as Michelle Rounds made her rounds for all to see, snuggling up nice and cozy with the very-easy-on-the-eyes Carmen Ortega.

Whether or not Ortega and Rounds are an official romantic item is not clear, according to TMZ, but they emerged from the Madera Kitchen restaurant with Rounds clutching the busty Ortega, the model not appearing to hold anything back, with her plunging neckline stopping just above her navel, the tight black dress showcasing Ortega’s considerable attributes.

Michelle Rounds, meanwhile, was all smiles, Rosie O’Donnell’s former mate draping her arm around Carmen Ortega while the two held and massaged one another’s hands.

Given the beyond-chummy interaction between Rounds and Ortega, the question of whether or not Rounds was trying to make Rosie O’Donnell jealous by parading around the paparazzi-riddled L.A. streets with the totally hot, scantily clad Carmen Ortega was a pretty legitimate question to ask — particularly since a child custody battle between O’Donnell and Rounds had just exploded earlier Tuesday.

The Daily Mail reports that Michelle Rounds’ date with Carmen Ortega took place just hours after Rounds filed for sole custody of she and O’Donnell’s two-year-old daughter.

Whether or not the courts will look kindly on Rounds out cavorting and enjoying the L.A. nightlife just a little while after filing her sole-custody child claim remains to be seen.

But Rounds and O’Donnell have been split up since November, 2014, and divorced in February, after three years of marriage, a break-up that was a surprise to many, since Rosie O’Donnell had just quit The View two weeks earlier, allegedly to focus on her family and health.

Hopefully, at least the health part is looking up for Rosie, since the family part is sadly crumbling.

One of the attorneys for Michelle Rounds pulled no punches on the custody matter, saying the daughter of Rounds and O’Donnell would be much better off with just Rounds.

“My client Michelle Rounds has decided to start proceedings for sole custody of their daughter Dakota, since it is unequivocally in their child’s best interest and general welfare.”

Rosie O’Donnell’s camp, meanwhile, is calling Rounds’ filing for sole custody a disingenuous play for more of O’Donnell’s fortune, with a spokesperson saying that “this is an absurd and desperate attempt to use a child for her own gain.”

While O’Donnell and Rounds feud — and Rounds goes out on dates with hot models like Carmen Ortega — the adopted child of O’Donnell and Rounds, Dakota, is stuck in the middle like a rope in a tug-of-war.

In their divorce filing, O’Donnell and Rounds said that they were in “an irretrievably broken relationship,” and one can only hope that the same will never ultimately be said about their relationships with their daughter.
