Antonio Banderas And Nicole Kimpel Look Cosy In The Capital
Expendables star Antonio Banderas has shown that his new love, Nicole Kimpel, is far from expendable. Hollywood A-Lister Banderas has been spotted in London with his girlfriend, and the couple looked very much in love. Banderas is reportedly in London to undertake a design course, and according to the Daily Mail, his stay will not be a lonely one.
The Daily Mail reported that 54-year-old Banderas was spotted walking through the fashionable and exclusive London Borough of Chelsea yesterday. Banderas walked hand in hand with 36-year-old Nicole, a Dutch investment consultant who was fashionably dressed in jeans and a red jacket.
Antonio has enrolled in a fashion design course at Central Saint Martin, an exclusive fashion school where the likes of Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen studied their art. The Daily Mail reports that Banderas was speaking on a UK daytime TV magazine show “Loose Women” when he revealed why he chose to study at the school.
“It’s something that has been on my mind for a long time and probably one of the best schools in the world is here, and so I am going to start studying with them.”
“It makes me feel actually very young to put the elbows on the table again and try to understand another reality.”
Antonio reassured his fans that he was not about to give up on his movie career when he said, “of course I won’t stop my professional life, I’ll continue acting, directing, but this is a new thing.”
Banderas and Kimpel have been spotted together frequently since Antonio and his wife Melanie Griffiths announced last year that they were to divorce after nearly 20-years of marriage. The Wall Street Journal reports that Banderas and Griffith recently listed their Beverley Hills estate for sale at a cool $16.1 million.
While Banderas and Griffith divorced citing irreconcilable differences, it is believed that the couple remain on good terms. At the time of their split being made public, Antonio and Melanie released a joint statement saying they were ending their marriage in a “friendly and loving” manner.
“We have thoughtfully and consensually decided to finalize our almost 20-year marriage in a loving and friendly manner honoring and respecting each other, our family, and friends and the beautiful time we have spent together.”
Antonio Banderas and Nicole Kimpel recently enjoyed the Easter Holiday together in his Spanish hometown of Málaga. Antonio and Nicole were spotted cuddling on a balcony while watching the religious celebrations. It appears that Banderas has found a new love and is moving on after his recent divorce.
