Justin Bieber Lands ‘Zoolander 2’ Cameo, Blue Steels With Ben Stiller
Justin Bieber has won a cameo role in Zoolander 2, which stars director and co-leads Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson.
Stop everything. All those rumors were true. And we’re not sure there are enough words to describe how much of a perfect fit this is. Or how insane the Internet will be today.
Justin Bieber, undisputed selfie-King – who has been Blue-Steeling like a total pro since the start of his career – is in Zoolander 2.
On Wednesday morning, the 21-year-old singer tweeted a black and white pic of him in a Blue-Steel face off with Stiller, who is in character as model Derek Zoolander. The Biebs’ caption simply read, “#Zoolander 2.”

Like Stiller, Justin also shared the shot at his Instagram page with an explanation. Tagging Ben and the film’s title, he wrote, “@benstiller #Zoolander2 #itsawignotmynewhair.”
Evidently, the heartthrob knows that if he changes the fab, preppy haircut he unveiled in a spoof Lion King video with manager Scooter Braun on Tuesday night, Beliebers will be on the warpath.
The singer’s fans won’t be surprised at today’s announcement. Rumors that he had a spot in Zoolander 2 sparked last Friday, when he told fans he was going to Rome in a message posted at his Fahlo account. The highly-anticipated comedy sequel to 2001’s Zoolander is shooting in Italy’s capital.
Justin was photographed flying out of LAX airport bound for Rome on Sunday (April 26) to shoot his part in the movie. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Italian media outlets have been speculating for days about his visit. He has been seen out and about in the city.

Justin’s inclusion in the movie, sees him joining a roll-call of cameos that includes singer Mika and British Formula One former champ, Lewis Hamilton, Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian-West.
Other stars in the film include Will Ferrell, Olivia Munn, Penelope Cruz, Kristen Wiig, Billy Zane, Christine Taylor, Kyle Mooney and Fred Armisen. Models eyed for cameos include Karlie Kloss, Alessandra Ambrosio, Naomi Campbell, Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne.
Last month, Stiller, 49, and Wilson, 46, walked Valentino’s Fall 2015 Fashion Show during Paris Fashion Week at the end of the show to announce Zoolander 2.
In the sequel’s plot, Derek and Hansel have returned to modelling, and are attacked when a company tries to take them out of business. To MTV, Stiller previously said,
“I think the idea in the beginning of the movie is that it’s 10 years later, and Derek and Hansel are literally forgotten.” He went on, “Nobody remembers who they are, so they have to reinvent themselves… In the fashion world, if you go away for a year, it’s changed — it just happens so quickly.”
Shortly after the cameo tease, Stiller had a brief Twitter exchange with two fans who took exception to Justin’s role in the film. A man, identifying himself as @psychobob3, tweeted Stiller, with, “@justinbieber @RedHourBen #Zoolander2 now I can’t see the movie, thanks a lot ben.”
@psychobob3 try it you might like it

Clearly chuffed to get a reply from Stiller (that read, “@psychobob3 Try it you might like it,”) the formerly outraged man said, “lol, alright I will give it a try.”
@psychobob3 seriously I think you will like the context. Thanks man

The same thing happened with another Twitter user.
Regardless, Justin Bieber is in Zoolander 2, and many will be interested to see the context the singer will face in the movie, which opens in U.S. theaters on February 12, 2016.
Meanwhile, the Biebs is also thought to be filming a music video for “Where Are U Now” in Europe. The dance single is a collaboration with Jack U’s Diplo and Skrillex, which is flying up multiple charts.
Elsewhere, in a new interview with Hero magazine, Justin repeated that he is sorry for his previous missteps.
“I hope people felt the sincerity in my apologies,” he said, adding, “There are a lot of things that have happened in the last couple years that I’m not very proud of.”
The singer explained, “I feel a responsibility to my fans and to the public who believe in me to make it right. I hope everyone believed it –– because it was honest.”
Just make everyone laugh in Zoolander 2, Biebs. The rest may just take care of itself.
