Hilary Duff On Tinder: Singer Shares Her Dating Tips, Reveals What Makes Her Swipe Left
Hilary Duff recently confirmed that she is on Tinder. A fan noticed that the “Sparks” singer had a profile set up on the dating app. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Hilary revealed that she started using a Tinder as a joke among her friends.
“I was sitting with my friends one night at the house and we were joking around. And in my life, I have always had really serious boyfriends. I’ve always met people through work and I have never been on a blind date. What’s the worst that’s gonna happen?”
Now, it looks like Tinder is working out for Ms. Duff. She says she already has some dates lined up. But how hard is it to get a date when you’re Hilary Duff? Obviously very hard, since most guys don’t believe that it’s really her who’s using the dating service!
“I’m talking to probably about nine guys right now. You only have your first name. Some people don’t know [it’s me]. I think some people act like they don’t know but they do. And a lot of people are like, ‘This is a joke, right?’ “
Don’t try to impress Hilary with a shirtless selfie of yourself, though. The singer revealed what guys make her swipe left and what catches her eye on Tinder.
“I think the first thing is obviously looks, which sounds super vain, but that is what you first go for: natural chemistry.
Also what they say in their profile has to be funny. I don’t want to see a shirtless, mirror selfie. That is instantly a left. I don’t know. Someone who looks like they like to do fun things and someone who can make you laugh in their profile. My profile says: Let’s eat pizza. I’ve had a lot of convos because of that.”
What happens if a date with Ms. Duff goes bad? Well, she won’t ditch you on the date, but don’t expect her to return your calls after.
“Hopefully the bathroom window will be big enough to crawl out. I’m too nice… I’ll stick around.”
Hilary Duff should add dating expert to her resumé. The actress and singer spoke to ABC News to reveal some important Tinder dating rules. Hilary says that the most important rule is to be yourself on a date, especially if it happens to be with a celebrity.
The Inquisitr previously reported that Duff went on her first date with a guy named Tom on Monday night. Although “Sparks” didn’t fly, she still had a good time. Duff revealed that she enjoyed going on a “total normie” date with the lucky guy.
It looks like Tom’s out of luck, since Hilary Duff is talking to almost 10 other guys at the moment. She’ll probably see a surge in messages on Tinder by tomorrow morning.
