Caught On Camera: Houston Robber Steals iPad From Toddler, Knocks Him Down

A shocking video clip showing the moment a robber stole an iPad from a two-year-old toddler has been released by the Houston Police Department in a bid to identify the thief. According to a KHOU report, the Houston Police Department is seeking help from members of the public to identify the robber who assaulted a two-year-old toddler, snatched an iPad from the kid’s hands, and ran away.

According to officials, the incident reportedly happened on April 19 near a washeteria located on the 8600 block of Tidwell. Security cameras installed at the premises clearly show the robber walking in and then approaching the toddler. He comes closer to the toddler, who according to the police was standing next to his mother’s car. The robber then mercilessly knocks the child to the ground, snatches the iPad from the toddler and runs away.

Officials later revealed that the two-year-old was with his older sibling when the incident happened. Their mother had arrived at the location to do the family’s laundry at the washeteria. Both the children are safe, but the toddler did suffer minor injuries.

Currently, all the officials have is the security camera footage that shows the suspect. According to the Houston Police Department, the individual is estimated to be around 6 feet tall, weighs around 180 pounds and has a very thin build. At the time of the robbery he was wearing blue shorts and a striped shirt.
