Hilary Duff Is On Tinder, But Her First Date Didn’t Go So Well

Hilary Duff has confirmed that her alleged Tinder profile is in fact hers, and in the process also confirmed that she’s back in the dating game.

Rumors started to circulate over the weekend that the 27-year-old actress had joined the dating website when a profile that read, “Hilary, 27, Let’s get pizza,” hit the web. You can see a picture of her profile below.

But not only is Hilary Duff, who is recently divorced after the disintegration of her marriage to NFL star Mike Comrie, with whom she has a 3-year-old daughter, on Tinder, she also appears to be killing it too.

Because after being quizzed by 1043 myfm, an L.A. radio station, via Billboard, about the profile the former Lizzie McGuire actress not only confirmed that the profile was hers, but that she is currently talking to nine guys too.

“I’m talking to probably about nine guys right now. You only have your first name. Some people don’t [it’s me]. I think some people act like they don’t know but they do. And a lot of people are like, ‘This is a joke, right?'”

In fact, Hilary Duff had her first date on Monday evening with a guy named Tom. However, she explained to Ryan Seacrest during her appearance on his radio show on Tuesday night that it was far from love at first sight.

“We went bowling so we didn’t have to talk too much, but we did talk a lot actually. He was cool. He brought a friend and I had some friends there. He used to be in editing for reality shows. Now, he’s an actor and he just wrote a play. He’s an interesting guy. To be honest, I don’t really want an actor either… I think he has a few jobs.”

But did they kiss? “No! Absolutely not,” Duff proclaimed, and when she was asked if she’d see him again she sagely added, “I don’t know how I’m feeling. We’ll see how it goes.”

How did Hilary Duff actually end up on Tinder though? Well, simply put, she was bored, via E! Online, and wanted to mix up how she meets her suitors.

“I was sitting with my friends one night at the house and we were joking around. In my life, I have always had really serious boyfriends. I’ve always met people through work and I have never been on a blind date. What’s the worst that could happen?”

And it doesn’t sound as if she will be stopping anytime soon too, because she admitted, “the whole process is wildly addicting.” In fact, Duff admitted to Seacrest, “I’m just a Tinder animal,”

She’s already got other date plans too, because she’s been talking to another guy about going “go-kart racing,” later this week, a rendezvous she doesn’t plan on being joined by her friends for, as she admitted, she will go alone.

How do you get Duff’s attention on the dating app though? First things first, she doesn’t want to see a “shirtless, mirror selfie.” She then explained, “The first thing is obviously looks, which sounds super vain, but that is what you first go for: natural chemistry. Also what they say in their profile has to be funny… I don’t know. Someone who looks like they like to do fun things and someone who can make you laugh in their profile.”
