Dave Navarro: Will It Be Fourth Time Lucky In Love With Fox Anchor?
At first glance, a romance between rocker Dave Navarro and Fox News anchor Andrea Tantaros would seem unlikely. Navarro is a three-time loser in love, having been married and divorced on three occasions. Tantaros is a former Capitol Hill press secretary who has worked as a political contributor and news anchor at Fox News since April, 2010. In short, Navarro and Tantaros could scarcely be more different.
According to Us Weekly, Andrea and Dave have been an item for a number of months. The Daily Mail claims that a source close to the couple told Us Weekly that 47-year-old Navarro and 36-year-old Tantaros have been dating for a couple months after they met each other through a mutual friend. The source indicated that whilst Navarro and Tantaros may appear very different, they actually have a lot in common.
“Even though they seem like opposites, they have a lot in common, they both have a wicked sense of humor and share a love of politics and dark eyeliner.”
Navarro and Tantaros have been spotted spending time together in New York City, where Andrea currently resides. Back in January, Navarro revealed an interest in Andrea when he posted on Twitter saying that he “loved” her and admitted that she was the reason he watched the Fox News show, Outnumbered.
Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Dave Navarro has been married three times before. Between 1990 and 1993, Dave was married to his first wife, Tania Goddard. Navarro was briefly married to Rhian Gittins in 1994 and, most notably, Dave was married to actress Carmen Electra between 2003 and 2007.
To date, neither Navarro or Tantaros have made any comment about a possible romance and representatives of both have refused to make any comment. Navarro has been spotted smooching with Andrea around New York City, where Andrea lives and where Dave is hosting the tattoo based reality TV show, Ink Master.
Navarro fronts the show that sees 10 of the country’s top tattoo artists go head to head for a $100,000 prize. The show is judged by tattoo legends Chris Nunez and Oliver Peck.
With Season 6 of the TV show about to get under way, and a new love in his life, it would seem that Navarro has plenty to keep him busy at present, though Dave is also believed to have his focus on his band, Jane’s Addiction. Navarro left the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1993, citing artistic differences, but returned to tour with them in 1997. Navarro has also worked on a number of musical and television solo projects.
