Marcus Grodd, Lacy Faddoul Update: What’s The Latest From The ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Couple?
It’s been nearly a year since Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul fell in love and got engaged while filming Bachelor in Paradise. The two walked the red carpet of Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor, but they’ve been a bit quiet since then. What’s the latest from Marcus and Lacy?
Though Lacy and Marcus had said in January that they were possibly looking at a summer wedding, they don’t appear to have shared anything more specific than that in the months since. However, for those Bachelor in Paradise fans who might be afraid the two have split, that is definitely not the case.
Grodd and Faddoul are still together and seemingly very happy. They’ve shared a few photos on Instagram or updates via Twitter over the past few months, and this past weekend they had a big, fun trip together. Marcus and Lacy hit the Stagecoach Country Music Festival, and it seems that they had a blast.
Both BIP stars shared multiple pictures from the California event, with Marcus noting that they were having a laid-back weekend taking in all the best acts the festival had to offer. Other recent posts show the two working on remodeling a home together, traveling to LaJolla, and Lacy joking about making Marcus hit McDonald’s for her but adding that she’s not pregnant.
This duo jokes around a lot with one another on Twitter, and they seem to continue to embrace both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette as well as Dancing with the Stars. From the looks of things, the duo has transitioned pretty nicely into just living their day-to-day lives together, despite Bachelor in Paradise fans being anxious for details regarding what comes next.
Marcus and Lacy had teased a few months back that they had big projects and announcements ahead for what they were working on this year. While they did release news on a perfume Lacy was working on right as Soules’ season premiered, most recently they’ve mostly been posting personal rather than business updates.
While it’s unlikely that Grodd and Faddoul’s wedding would be televised, should the Bachelor in Paradise duo make it that far, fans are still anxious to know if they’ve made serious plans. Season 2 of BIP premieres on August 2, and filming will likely take place in June.
It’s not known just yet which Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants will be participating in this second season, but news should be emerging on that front fairly soon. Will any new couples fall in love and get engaged like Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul did?
