NeNe Leakes Implies Kandi Burruss No Longer A Celebrity And Says It Was Kenya Moore Who Flirted With Cynthia Bailey’s Hubby
NeNe Leakes has once and for all declared herself to be the Queen Bee of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. During an interview with Access Hollywood‘s Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Monday, NeNe reflected on what went on during Part 1 of the Season 7 reunion show, which aired on Sunday night. NeNe right away said that she’s the biggest star of the show.
“I am the Queen Bee, let’s just call it like it is!”
One person who likely disagrees with NeNe’s proclamation that she’s the Queen Bee of the Atlanta housewives is Kandi Burruss. During the reunion, NeNe admitted that a recent tweet that she posted about her biggest hater on the show was actually about Kandi.
Kandi fought back by explaining why she doesn’t trust NeNe. In what seemed to be a warning to Phaedra Parks, Kandi claimed that NeNe has shared private text messages between herself and Cynthia Bailey after their friendship ended. Kandi added that NeNe did the same thing to former housewife Kim Zolciak. Kandi concluded that she isn’t a hater but simply doesn’t like how highly NeNe thinks of herself sometimes.
“What I’m saying is you’ve shown a side where you’ll blast a person with information that you know about them if ya’ll no longer friends … I don’t like your superior stank a** attitude at times but when you’re fun and you’re laughing at times, I love that.”
As the reunion aired, NeNe retweeted a fan’s tweet that declared that Kandi has hated on NeNe all season long. NeNe added to the tweet that she’s bored of Kandi.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kandi denied that she’s jealous of NeNe’s new friendship with Phaedra. Kandi said that she doesn’t mind NeNe and Phaedra talking, so long as her name is kept out of the conversation.
During her Access Hollywood interview, NeNe reiterated that she’s bored of Kandi. NeNe even implied that Kandi is a has-been whose time has passed.
“I don’t know what Kandi’s problem is and I can’t even believe I’m saying her name out of my mouth. I’m so bored just saying her name. Kandi was a celebrity back in the ’90s and let’s just leave it like that.”
Besides Kandi Burruss, NeNe Leakes also hit back at Kenya Moore during her Access Hollywood interview. The preview for Part 2 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 reunion show shows Kenya accusing NeNe of having flirted with Cynthia Bailey’s husband, Peter Thomas, in the past, prompting a furious, expletive-laden reaction from NeNe. NeNe told Access Hollywood that it was Kenya who was after Peter.
“Child, please! Peter is not my type. Everybody wants to have an argument The Queen… Everybody knows that Kenya was the one flirting with Peter over in Anguilla [last season]. She’s the one that dropped it like it was hot in front of Peter… I don’t do stuff like that, not to a friend of mine. I would never flirt with Peter.”
