NeNe Leakes: ‘I Am The Queen Bee’ Of ‘RHOA,’ Says She Works With A Bunch Of Drama Queens And A Has-Been [Video]

In case there was any doubt, NeNe Leakes has once again proclaimed she is the Queen Bee of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. According to the RHOA star, she works with a bunch of drama queens with whom she will likely never be friends and claims co-star Kandi Burruss is a has-been.

In an interview with Access Hollywood Live on Monday, NeNe dished on the tension between herself and some of her co-stars. While Phaedra Parks is still “her girl” with whom she foresees never having any drama, the same cannot be said for the rest of the cast. Leakes tells the Access Hollywood hosts that she works with a bunch of drama queens, so there is always some type of beef happening with the cast.

As far as being friends with any of the cast, NeNe Leakes says she was only ever friends with one of her co-stars and that was Cynthia Bailey. The Broadway star says since the friendship ended, she has moved on. Will she ever be friends with any of the other Atlanta housewives? Probably not, says Leakes.

“But the rest of these girls, I probably won’t ever be friends with. We’re not in high school. They keep talking about us being friends. We’re not high school. We’re grown women.”

Kandi Burruss had an issue with NeNe Leakes this season, and as Wetpaint Entertainment reports, Burruss insisted during the first part of the RHOA reunion that the problem she has with her co-star is that NeNe has a “superior complex” and talks down to people. When one of the hosts of Access Hollywood suggests Kandi may be jealous of NeNe because she is the Queen Bee of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Leakes says she is not sure if it is jealousy or because Burruss is a has-been.

“I am the Queen Bee. Let’s just call it like it is. I don’t know what Kandi’s problem is and I can’t even believe I’m saying her name out of my mouth. I’m so bored just saying her name, but, you know, Kandi was a celebrity back in the ’90s. Now let’s just leave it like that. Okay?”

Although NeNe Leakes may not have many friends amongst the cast of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, as reported by the Inquisitr earlier this month, she is rumored to be returning for an eighth season of the show.

The second part of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion will air Sunday, May 3 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
