Vile Rapist Nurse Andrew Hutchinson Jailed18 Years After Filming Himself Raping Unconscious Patients
A vile rapist nurse, Andrew Hutchinson, 29, was sentenced earlier today to 18 years in prison for the rape and molestation of unconscious patients at Oxford University Hospital where he worked as well as John Radcliffe Hospital, where he previously worked, according to Mirror.
Hutchinson was a trusted nurse who was given permission to treat patients on his own without being supervised by a physician or other staff. While sedated, he would pull out his camera and film himself raping the patients.
Although all of the patients were unconscious, some had an inkling they had been molested and immediately reported Hutchinson. Complaints against him had been filed five years before his arrest last week, but the hospital opted to ignore it.

While in police custody, the vile rapist nurse admitted to filming himself raping two unconscious women, and had at least targeted 27 people, some as young as 10-years-old. He also confessed to having issues with voyeurism and child porn since the age of 16.
Police later found 1,700 inappropriate photos of women and children in his computer as well as in his phone.
During court, the judge told him “When they were unconscious requiring your help and your assistance as their nurse, you raped them and you filmed it. It is impossible to conceive of a greater breach of trust in our society than that.”
“I have no doubt that Hutchinson would have continued to offend had he not been arrested so I am delighted that this prolific offender will now be behind bars for a significant period of his life.”
Several of the raped victims appeared in court to watch Hutchinson’s sentencing. One of the victims had even tried to harm herself after learning she had been one of the unconscious patients raped by the nurse.
“This has been a particularly complicated, unusual and sensitive case as the victims of his sex offences were not aware that offences took place because they were not conscious,” said Detective Chief Inspector Mark Johns of Thames Valley Police.
“I would like to thank the victims for the great courage and dignity they have shown during our investigation.”
“I cannot imagine the distress they have been through since we had to inform them they were a victim in this complex investigation.”
“I hope the victims feel some sense of justice now Hutchinson has been convicted and sentenced.”
Mark Power, a spokesman at Oxford University Hospital stated “We have been shocked by the behavior of the individual, who so badly let down both the patients he was entrusted to care for and his colleagues.”
“He failed in his professional duties and responsibilities as a nurse. Our thoughts are with the victims.”
The rapist nurse will spend 18 years in prison followed by an extended licence period of seven years.
