Ed Sheeran Hits New Heights As Taylor Swift Helps Him Pick Up Girls

Newly single Ed Sheeran has revealed that he has an ace up his sleeve when it comes to meeting girls. Ed, who split from longtime girlfriend Athina Andrelos last month, sparked rumors that he might be dating Taylor Swift, but Sheeran has revealed that Taylor is in fact his “wing-man.” According to the Mirror Ed Sheeran has told an Australian radio program that Taylor Swift is helping him to meet girls.

Speaking on Australian radio program the Kyle And Jackie O Show, 24-year-old singer Ed Sheeran confirmed that he and girlfriend Athina Andrelos recently ended their relationship. Sheeran also said that his good pal Taylor is actually really good at helping him meet new potential partners. Talking about Taylor Swift, Ed claimed that “she’s a brilliant wing-man.”

According to Music News, however Sheeran admits that Taylor is no match for another of his pals, Aussie cricket legend Shane Warne. Ed admits that he is in awe of Shane Warne‘s pick up skills. Sheeran said “He’s hugely impressive. It’s an art form with him.”

It seems that Ed Sheeran isn’t about to start playing the field however. Ed say’s that he comes from a family that sticks together through thick and thin. Ed claimed that he is “from a family where you find a partner and stick with them.” So it seems that Sheeran is on the lookout for someone to settle down with.

Away from his love life, Ed Sheeran has passed to very impressive musical milestones in the past week. According to the Official Charts Company Sheeran’s super-romantic love song “Thinking Out Loud” has become one of the biggest selling UK single releases of all time as it passed the one million sales milestone. Ed’s single has become an unofficial wedding anthem and the singer recently turned up at an Australian couples wedding to sing the track live for them after he heard about the couple struggles to raise the cash to get married.

If that wasn’t a big enough milestone Ed Sheeran is also the most streamed artist on Spotify, and last week he passed an amazing milestone after he hit the two billion streams milestone. Sheeran’s feat is all the more amazing when you consider that his back catalog extends to just two albums. Sheeran released his first album + in 2011 and X in 2014. The single “The A Team” from his debut album also passed the one million sales mark.
