Chris Soules Feels ‘Smothered’ By Whitney, Headed For Break-Up After ‘DWTS’?
Chris Soules is feeling the pressure both on and off the Dancing with the Stars dance floor these days. The former Bachelor star and his fiancée, Whitney Bischoff, are rumored to be having relationship issues that may end their engagement once Chris either wins, or is eliminated from the ballroom dance competition.
Despite their sweet “Lovers Day” posts on Instagram, things are apparently not picture-perfect behind the scenes for Chris and Whitney. The Iowa farmer-turned-reality-TV-star is reportedly feeling smothered by Bischoff, and his family is as well. “Clingy” and “overbearing” were also words used to describe how Chris is feeling about Whitney these days.
Chris’s “smothered” feeling reportedly comes from Whitney trying so hard to make her way into his family. He seems to be reacting to this by spending lots of time practicing his Dancing with the Stars routines, and has been heading out to fun events with his dance partner, Witney — instead of spending time with his fiancée.
“Soules is feeling smothered by the way Bischoff is inserting herself into the family. She is so clingy and overbearing, Chris’ parents and siblings are beginning to question if she really is the right one for Chris — and they seriously need some space from her.”
However, if rumors are true, Whitney’s desire to be surrounded by family is something Chris should have expected. Fans will recall that during one episode of the Bachelor, Whitney told Chris that her mother died instantly from a blood clot 10 years ago, and she had no contact with her father. Whitney made it clear that she was looking to marry someone with parents she could call Mom and Dad.
Reality Steve stated months ago that they would “never last,” and one look at Soules’ Twitter account clearly shows that he is more focused on Dancing With the Stars than he is on his relatively new relationship with Bischoff.
Whitney was nowhere to be found last week when Chris headed to the DWTS 10th Anniversary after-party with his partner, Witney Carson. According to WetPaint, Chris and Witney were having a great time at the party.

Chris and his dance partner also hit the town — without Whitney — on Saturday night when they attended the Radio Disney Music Awards together.

Looks like they were having a blast at the RDMA supporting their DWTS cast mate, Riker Lynch, but what about Whitney Bischoff? If her most recent Instagram post is any indication, she was sharing a little alone time with a bottle of wine and “All is well!”
