Mark Wahlberg and P. Diddy have more in common than having both been rappers. They both also happen to be huge boxing fans with bets on the upcoming fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Manny Pacquiao is nervous about taking on undefeated (by 47 fights) boxer Floyd Mayweather, and he’s taken to his faith for an edge to break Mayweather’s winning streak.
The undefeated champion has to go down some day, and the boxer whose nickname (PacMan) reflects one of the oldest viral video games of all time is hoping he’ll be the one to make it happen.
Even though Wahlberg has left his rap persona behind in his Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch days, it seems he’s made a name for himself on the big screen. After Boogie Nights , he has only gained fame. Some of it wasn’t so great, such as his starring role in the Planet of the Apes remake, Max Payne , and the recent Michael Bay franchise Transformers , but he’s doing well for himself.
Wahlberg is doing so well that when P. Diddy bet him $100,000 that Mayweather is going to win at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the actor replied, “Why so little?”
Apparently, it took $250,000 to make the bet worthwhile between Mark Wahlberg and P. Diddy, according to the Instagram post above.
If Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, loses this bet, it apparently won’t be a big loss. He recently lost a cool million to Rick Ross over a dice game. He posted the loss on social media with the caption, “I just lost a million dollars. It ain’t nothin.”
I’m rolling with The Money Team! @Mark_Wahlberg said he got Pacquiao! Who you got!? @Aquahydrate @jamescruz1 pic.twitter.com/TMQwF2K2qI

These celebrities aren’t the only ones with predictions about the fight either. NBA superstar Charles Barkley agrees with Wahlberg that PacMan will win, while several others are rooting for Mayweather. Among Floyd’s followers are Shaquille O’Neill and Jamie Foxx.
Others, such as reality TV star Khloe Kardashian, believe the fight could go either way.
Do you agree with Mark Wahlberg or P. Diddy in their prediction of who will win the Mayweather Pacquiao fight?
