‘Game Of Thrones’ Fans: Take A Location Tour In Seville And Osuna, Spain
If you are a fan of Game of Thrones and never miss an episode, just imagine visiting all those fantastic sets and experiencing a real feel of the show.
As Game of Thrones Season 5 hits TV screens, viewers are being treated to incredible locations including historic Seville and nearby Osuna in Spain. While Khaleesi has been living it up among this amazing architecture, fans can now do the same.
One enterprising travel company has launched a series of Game of Thrones luxury tours, just for you. The U.S.-based travel website Zicasso is offering the tours and explained their reasoning to the Local.
“We have chosen to focus exclusively on Spain as the centerpiece filming location for Season 5. Here, guests will enter the world of Dorne, visiting the filming locations where viewers will be introduced to the powerful Martell family, while exploring three registered UNESCO World Heritage Sites.”
Yes, not only the Game of Thrones locations will be visited, as participants also get to see Madrid, the country’s capital, as well as historic and fascinating Granada and the Alhambra Palace.
Enjoy scenes of the Real Alcázar palace in Seville, which is a beautiful example of classic Islamic architecture with tranquil courtyards, beautiful gardens, and exceptional finishes.

In Osuna near Seville, visit the bullring, which is the scene of an epic battle in the latest season of Games of Thrones.
Steve Yu, director of marketing and business development at Zicasso, said they noted the great interest from fans to visit filming locations and decided to do something about this.
“We’ve seen great interest from fans of TV series or movies to not only visit the filming locations, but to really immerse themselves in the history and culture of those destinations.
“For the first time, fans of Game of Thrones will get to experience the filming locations in Spain—a country that is so rich in its history of epic battles and dueling kingdoms. Fantasy truly meets reality on this unique Spanish journey!”
Meanwhile, have pity on Spanish fans of the popular series. Season 5 is being broadcast in Spain at the same time as it is in the U.S., meaning viewers have to set their alarms for 3 a.m. to be able to enjoy the show.
Bear in mind this tour doesn’t come cheap and will cost $1,899 per person, but this does include accommodation, transport, and entrance fees to the various locations. If you are flying internationally, however, you’ll have to pay your own airfare.
The idea is not totally original, however, as there are also Game of Thrones tours offered in Ireland. It seems some of the most spectacular indoor sets were built for the series inside the “Paint Hall” in Belfast, which is apparently the largest studio space in the world.
Here you can visit the Red Keep’s Great Hall, the Sept of Baelor, and the Eyrie, among other sets in the Game of Thrones series.
This year, immerse yourself in the whole vibe of the series by visiting those spectacular locations in both Spain and Ireland. For those who can’t afford the time or the money, below is a video tour of the Real Alcázar in Seville, Spain.
Besides all this wonder, according to a report on the Inquisitr, the Game of Thrones series is also inspiring the Russian MMA, a premier fighting sport.
