'X Factor' Judge Showdown: Will Simon Cowell Win?

X Factor is going to have a new judge, and if Simon Cowell gets his way (he will of course), the judge will be Rita Ora. Moving from The Voice to the X Factor is natural as far as Cowell is concerned.

"I saw Rita on The Voice and I thought she was very good. When it comes to asking her over, you know, it's fair game."

X Factor judge Mel B got the Simon Cowell "X" amidst rumors of marital troubles after she missed the first half of the final and showed up minus a wedding ring for the second half. Her brother-in-law Jeremiah Stansbury says it's because of husband Stephan Belafonte.

"It is sad she got axed. The world of showbusiness has a high threshold of debauchery - you can party and you can have sex with strippers and they will welcome you back"

"But there is certain level of toxicity that will not be tolerated. And once people see through Stephen's good looks and new clothes they cut him off."

"It's hard to have him around. He wants everything his way."

"But there are some really accomplished and talented people with real credentials involved on that show and they don't buy into it."

Let's hope ex-Spice Girl Mel finds the X Factor that will make romance work for her!

Bad news for Mel is good news for Rita Ora. There are other X Factor judge possibles in the running, but with Simon Cowell's backing, Rita is the frontrunner. She's leading the Ladbroke's betting according to spokesman Alex Donohue.

"Rita Ora is definitely the hot favourite to replace Mel B right now following the latest news."

"Tulisa, Louis Tomlinson and Robbie Williams all look like potential judging candidates too although sadly for Kim K fans she's a long shot like Jeremy Clarkson"

According to TV3 Xposé TV News, ITV doesn't like the idea of Rita as X Factor judge. They don't want "X" The Voice judges for their show!
"It's going to be very interesting to see how this all pans out but it could get extremely messy."

"It's a real battle of wills. ITV see 'X Factor' as vastly superior to 'The Voice'. They don't want a judge who they see as a cast-off. As far as they are concerned, Rita's now out of the picture."

Okay, so it's a battle. But we all know Simon's going to win. After all, he's got the X Factor.
