Kaley Cuoco has several great loves in her life. In addition to husband Ryan Sweeting, she has her several dogs that populate her social media accounts. Indeed, Cuoco-Sweeting’s Instagram page is even named after her dog, Norman. As much as the viewing public may know her best as Penny on The Big Bang Theory , Cuoco is also an equestrian, often competing in show-jumping competitions in Los Angeles.

This week People featured Kaley and her beloved horse, Thor, in print and online. The magazine posted a video of Thor “interviewing” his rider, asking about aspects of their relationship. At one point, Thor “compliments” Kaley’s infamous haircut and asks for feedback on his own mane. You can watch the People magazine video below.

Kaley had some fun with the People magazine shoot, posting a short video on her Instagram page of Thor getting a makeup job and a brush before filming began.

She also revealed that filming for the latest season of The Big Bang Theory wrapped this week. It’s been a big year for her character Penny, as she started a new job, started living with fiance Leonard part-time and, of course, debuted a controversial pixie cut. In a recent interview, Big Bang Theory executive producer Steven Molaro teased the show’s season finale by saying the show’s main couples, including Leonard and Penny, will make life-changing decisions.

As for Kaley’s equestrian career, her love of horses is nothing new. She suffered a setback several years ago when an accident caused a serious foot injury. As she told Self magazine last year, she’s been riding most of her life and has no plans to stop.

“I took my first riding lesson at 15, and I’ve ridden almost every day since. Two years ago, I fell off my horse and crushed my leg. Before surgery, I had to sign a contract saying it was OK if they had to amputate! When I awoke with my leg, I was so happy. I was back on the horse while the cast was still on. I have four horses, and they are my everything. I was determined not to lose that. I am a little more careful now!”

The season finale of The Big Bang Theory is getting closer; there is just one more new episode before the finale hits screens on May 7. Viewers can check out the gang in their “cliffhanger” storyline on Thursday nights at 8 p.m. on CBS.
