Robert Herjavec And Kym Johnson Go Back To The 80s On ‘Dancing With The Stars’
Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson have had a rough couple of weeks on Dancing With the Stars. Despite finishing at the bottom of the leader board for week 5 and week 6, they escaped elimination last Monday, as fans said goodbye to music icon Patti LaBelle instead. Heading into week 7, eras night, the pair are going back to a decade Robert apparently remembers fondly, judging from his Twitter feed: the 80s.

The pair is set to do an Argentine Tango and Robert was looking the part as he sent out a picture of himself in costume.

Kym Johnson revealed to fans on Thursday that the duo will perform a contemporary dance, which may be welcome news to Herjavec, who seemed to struggle with the fast footwork of the quick step and jive over the past two weeks.

Next week is a double elimination. Robert and Kym were last in judges’ scores on Monday night and Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess were second from the bottom. Herjavec spoke highly of Galloway in his blog for Entertainment Weekly, published Tuesday. He spoke of how the two men became friendly as they were part of a team dance.
“For some reason, the pros didn’t want our advice while choreographing the group number (can’t imagine why!), so we spent a lot of time to the side. I know he struggled watching the package before his dance last night and let me tell you…This man is committed to this experience, and has an incredible relationship with Sharna.”
Herjavec also opened up to People about his own relationship with Kym Johnson, in the midst of their possible elimination and what the magazine called “loud whispers” of an off-camera romance.
“I don’t want us to go home yet – I’m not ready. It’s made our connection even stronger. We’ve come together, and we’re really going to get through this…. I can’t imagine doing this with anybody else.”
Dancing With the Stars airs Monday and Tuesday nights on ABC. A special anniversary special is also scheduled to broadcast next week.
