Mama June Is Bisexual, ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Mom Admits To Lesbian Experiences With Women
Mama June, aka June Shannon, wants you to know that she is bisexual. TMZ is reporting that the former TLC reality show mom admitted that she liked women. And there’s more, her daughter “Pumpkin” admitted that she is also attracted to women and is bisexual.
The secrets were spilled in an interview with the tabloid news show Inside Edition. The revelation came about after her daughter, Pumpkin, aka Lauryn Thompson, stated that she liked women, according to the Daily Mail.
“I’m attracted to females, and I’m attracted to males. You cannot hide who you truly are.”
After admitting her own sexual preferences, she then ratted on her mother, Mama June, who admitted that she has never had a real relationship with a woman but intimated that she had been sexual with a woman at least three times in her life. The former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star also stated that she is willing to keep her options open since it is not certain how things will work out with Sugar Bear, her longtime boyfriend, whom she separated from last year. About those sexual experiences, June stated the following.
“It’s no big deal, I was young and experimented with it.() I’m not going to lie, I played in the minors but never went pro.(0 It’s open season. I will keep ALL my options open.
The past year has been a jaw-dropper for fans of Mama June. In 2014, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo fans learned that Mama June was involved in a sexual relationship with her ex-boyfriend, a convicted pedophile who had recently left prison after serving 10 years for molesting a child. June denied the allegations when they were first revealed, but backtracked when TMZ came out with pictures showing June with the man. As a result of that scandal, she lost her TLC show.
Then back in December 2014, Inquisitr reported that adult film king Steve Hirsch offered Mama June $1 million or more if she would agree to let them film her in a celebrity sex videotape.
“We would make the experience an enjoyable one for both of you and give you as much creative input as you would like.”
No word on whether Mama June would be open to both the sex tape and the lesbian/bisexual hook up for the right price.
Though Mama June’s admission about being involved with women seems far-fetched, the truth is more women have had these experiences more than the average person might think. Many women admit to having had sexual experiences with other women in college, or at least once or twice during a passionate moment of indiscretion.
A 2005 study found that as women age, their sexuality becomes more fluid. In other words, they are more open to lesbian experiences as they age. Woman-on-woman sex is more about the emotional connection than anything, according to the article “Women Become More Bisexual As They Age (Says Science).”
