Kim Richards To Dr. Phil: ‘Is This An Intervention?’ First Promo Clip Of Interview Released [Video]

In the first promo clip released by the Dr. Phil Show, Kim Richards faces tough questions and accusations in the exclusive interview with the TV psychologist set to air next week.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ star sat down just days after her arrest to tape a one-on-one interview with Dr. Phil, which will air Tuesday, April 28. As PEOPLE reports, an early transcript from the interview indicates Kim Richards takes full responsibility for her arrest for public intoxication last Thursday.

“I was angry and frightened and I was scared. I knew what I had done. The whole night is my fault. None of this would have happened if I didn’t drink.”

Richards taking responsibility does not seem to be good enough for Dr. Phil, however. The TV psychologist asks Kim if she has been lying when she has repeatedly insisted she has been sober for three years and says her actions leading up to her arrest last week do not make for a good mother.

“You were drunk in a bar, fighting with a cop. That is not good mothering.”

It appears as if Kim Richards does not take kindly to Dr. Phil’s questions or comments as she can be seen walking out of the interview after she asks her children, “Is this an intervention? I’m sorry, I can’t.”

While her friends and family have been encouraging Richards to seek treatment for her apparent relapse, Kim is not committing to rehab. As reported by the Inquisitr on Thursday, Richards allegedly cannot afford to go. Although Dr. Phil offered a trip to rehab, all expenses paid, to the reality star in exchange for the exclusive interview, Richards reportedly did not take him up on his offer.

Support from her family may not be enough to get Kim to go back to rehab, but if she wants to keep her six-figure salary with Bravo, she may have be forced to seek help. Sources close to the show claim producers want Kim Richards to seek some type of treatment before she can return for another season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Kim Richards was arrested in the early morning hours of Thursday, April 16 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. She was charged with public intoxication, battery on a police officer, trespassing, and resisting an officer. She is to appear in LAX Superior Court on May 10, according to the Daily Mail.
