Kathy Hilton Attended Kim Richards’ Dr. Phil Interview With Three Of Her Children, But ‘RHOBH’ Stormed Out
Kathy Hilton, along with three of Kim Richards’ four children, were in attendance when the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star taped an interview with Dr. Phil for his daytime talk show.
According to photos released by Daily Mail on April 22, Kathy Hilton, Kim Richards, Brooke, 29, Chad, 22 and Kimberly, 20, were in Los Angeles, filming a segment for Dr. Phil’s show, when things between Richards and Dr. Phil reportedly got heated.
Although the actual interview appeared to go okay, Kathy Hilton’s sister was reportedly turned off by Dr. Phil’s offer to pay for her to go to rehab. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Dr. Phil suggested the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star enter treatment to address her issues with addiction, and volunteered to foot the bill. However, the suggestion took Richards by surprise, and immediately turned it down.
“Dr. Phil offered to send her to rehab, and said he would take care of the expenses,” a source revealed to Radar Online earlier this month.
“It was extremely generous, and a facility was picked out by Dr. Phil. Kim was blown away by the gesture, but didn’t immediately agree to go. Kim’s daughter, Brooke, is getting married for a second time next month, and she doesn’t want to miss it. The event will be taking place out of the country. Meanwhile Dr. Phil warned Kim her life was in danger because of her addiction to alcohol.”
After hearing Dr. Phil’s offer, Richards reportedly burst into tears and darted out of the interview facility, yelling “f**k” and other obscenities along the way. With Kathy Hilton outside, Richards’ daughter, Brooke, was reportedly heard telling her mother to go to treatment.
“Why do you have to be so f—ing picky. You have to do this mom.”
According to an eyewitness, Richards, with sister Kathy Hilton at her side, reportedly claimed the program Dr. Phil recommended wouldn’t work well with her current situation. In addition to having her cancer-stricken ex-husband staying at her home, her daughter Brooke will reportedly tie the knot for a second time in the coming weeks.
“Kim insisted that any program had to fit her needs, saying she wouldn’t go out of state, wanted to do a 30-day not 60-day program, didn’t want to miss her daughter Brooke’s wedding in May and was worried about being away from Monty.”
