Lizzie Rovsek and the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County began filming the 10th season of the Bravo reality show months ago, and now they are preparing for the series’ upcoming premiere. During an interview with Perez Hilton on April 20, Lizzie Rovsek teased of the new season .
“We have probably a few more weeks of filming, and that’s it. The air date is June 1. So, I think it should be a pretty interesting season. It’s season 10, so it’s really big.”
Joining Lizzie Rovsek for Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County are returning housewives Tamra Barney, Heather Dubrow, Vicki Gunvalson, and Shannon Beador, and new wives Meghan King Edmonds and Katie Hamilton.
During Season 9, Lizzie Rovsek butted heads with Barney, but after having a few months to cool off while the show was in hiatus, the two women were able to get to a better place and actually enjoyed their new friendship throughout filming on Season 10.
“Tamra and I are great. We are in a really good place, we have been getting along and having a lot of fun. We had a great time on the trip together. Last year was pretty brutal, and we went through a really hard time even after we stopped filming, and, you know, today, I’m happy to say that we are getting along, and things are really good.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the addition of the new wives , Edmonds and Hamilton, hit the web earlier this year, shortly after filming began on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10. In late January, a source revealed the following to Radar Online .
“The two new housewives are Meghan King Edmonds, who is married to baseball player Jim Edmonds, and Katie Chadwick Hamilton, wife of baseball player Josh Hamilton.”
Sadly, Hamilton’s marriage to Josh recently came to an end, when he filed for divorce in February after a reported relapse on cocaine, although that hasn’t been confirmed. According to the Dallas Morning News , Josh filed documents months ago, requesting the end of his marriage to Katie, and judging by the sound of things, their separation is far from amicable. In addition to agreeing not to speak during the proceedings, Josh is no longer allowed to spend time with his children without supervision.
